the missing subs are for real and if their diesel/electric will be almost untrackable till they fire.
The one in 2010 was a Chinese nuclear sub, Jin class. So yeah, they did it. Of course, the "off the coast of CA" is a bit of an exaggeration. The US considers its waters at 200 miles out, and the sub was in international waters.

The assumption would of course be that it was a Chinese sub and the NK have been planning sneaky actions?
