Halfway through reading that thread it got me thinking, if pilots with only a few hours of training can waltz right into the US COMPLETELY unmolested (9/11 Attacks)....

To their credit, they did HIJACK passenger planes, as is their formula, but no terrorist is gonna sneak a nuke onto a plane now a days in the USA, I would hope. TSA is a lot of things but you'd hope they'd stop a nuke from boarding a plane. That said, I've wondered how the Pentagon was able to be hit that terrible day. It's the Pentagon ffs.

With that, good luck to NK flying their planes into US airspace, even if they are hiding somewhere like Cuba.

that would depend on whether or not the attackers are allowed through, a la 9/11.

Nuke is extremely unlikely, I would rather be afraid of the chemical and biological weapons NK has.

Overally, I still believe all this a bluff. If NK decided to nuke anybody, it would be a suicide. They are not that dumb.

What a great idea! Are you kidding me!!! The men who flew the planes in to the building were not "living in caves" at the time of the attack. They were living comfortably in American soil, utilizing American prostitudes to boot!

There is a major difference between 9/11 and whats happening in NK. NK would have to bring a fleet across the ocean to nuke us and believe me the US would notice. We do have the technology for that.

The 9/11 planes where US carriers and originated from in the US with transponders that ID them as such. Not coming in from outside US airspace. So I think your idea is a little weak.

Though I think it is very unlikely. It would not be difficult for a determined enemy to attack the US. Semi submersible subs capable of carrying 7 tons of cocain each get passed our "security" all the time. We couldn't justify attacking NK because we have other enemies and without direct proof they did it any attack on NK would be preemptive. AS I said before very unlikely But not impossible.

C'mon people.

This is the forum for WW3, not 9/11 conspiracies. Though the OP did use those as an example, let's try to stay on topic.

I agree T~ And just to throw my 2 sense in. I hope Lil Kim launches a Nuke and it explodes over there country, because they connected the flux capacitor to the macgyver valve and didn't put the discombobulator in to regulate the postive flow of belicose rhetoric......

I must say their "pilots" are no even on the same level as our fighter pilots! Those boys would be toast before they crossed any boundaries of the U.S. .....unless...."they" allow it of course. Perfect way to play.

So let me guess , ,, you guys saying that there is no way that little NK could pull off any kind of attack on U.S. soil are also the ones who believe king Obama when he comes out and tells everyone that our boarders are safer now than they have ever been . It's not that it isn't possible.... Nor do I take anything Obama says seriously.... Actually I take it with a shot of penicilin.... N.K would need to have China back them to get to the U.S.... N.K by themselves.... I'll give them a .5 out of 10 chance of successfully completing a attack like that.

Granted, it's 1950's tech, but still plays a important part. Nothing can quite replace the widget. Add a thingamabob and you've effectively doubled it's power.
