Derby fire deaths: Three guilty of Philpott children's deaths.

The parents who started a blaze which killed six children as they slept have been convicted of their manslaughter.

They set up a fire in their house to frame Micks ex lover and to get a bigger home for their 17 kids. It went wrong and 6 of those kids died.

A small transcript from the trial.

You were in this together weren't you," he said. Philpott tearfully replied he wasn't: "I swear on my children's resting place." Mr Latham's response: "Don't descend to that. Don't demean yourself."

Sickening just sickening killing 6 of your own kids and then swearing on their final resting place.
RIP little children and my thoughts go out to the family and surviving kids.

I'm living in Derby myself, and yes it is such a tragedy.

I hope they get what they deserve in prison, as anything involving children = bad time in prison.

The news earlier on showed all the kids photos and their aspirations.

This is right up there on my list of the most awful things that have happened in the 39 years I've been alive. Scum like this should be neutered for the sake of the gene pool. I can only hope and pray that they get what they deserve while they're in jail.
