Thanks for writing that, at least I know your not all like the OP. As I said in an earlier post, I understand that a lot of people in the world don't like our government, I even understand if people in Oz are pissed about being suckered into the Iraq war, believe me, our gov. suckered us Americans into that war as well. What annoys me, and a lot of American's on this thread I think, is that the OP, who I notice hasn't reared his head on this thread in a while, is not just anti-U.S., but ridiculously over-the-top anti-U.S. I am personally well versed in the rhetoric of
anti-Americanism, I even have learned to differentiate between the different forms of anti-American rhetoric, and I can honestly say that the OP's rhetoric sounds Chinese, not Australian.

As a Aussie spending heaps of time in the US (refuse to acknowledge "moved to the US") If it keeps our dollar stronger than the US dollar every time I go to TJ Maxx or Nordstrom Rack, I am well pleased.

on page 2 of this thread, it was shown that the op actually stole his title from someone else. more so, he stole it from a yank. (you can check out his name from her post). i have even had people wetting their undies at me saying i called the op un australian. well guess what, the title did come from someone who was not australian. and the person who bagged me out so much hasn't had the balls to come back and front up to 1) that my gut feeling about whoever came up with the heading (upon which i based my questions as to whether he was aussie or not) and 2) that her bagging me out because of my inability to use s or a or whatever is on the left hand side of the number one because my keyboard is broken was in poor form actually ignorance at its finest on a deny ignorance site. but back to answering you. there are many dipsticks on both sides of the puddle. yanks imo are a top bunch. someone typed here that the average joe blow really hasn't got any say in what happens. only those in power have that ability. so average day yanks, welcome to our little bit of dirt. enjoy your stay

Australia is doing what they think is best for their country and its people; this is to be expected; and what they want to do does make sense; however...I just don't like it when people gloat about it.

Oh but it is OK for you Yanks to gloat right? Because that is all that you do. What you see here is one of your very, very few real friends dumping you. I'd be careful, you can't afford to lose the other 3.

Seriously though is the US even run by its own government any more i listen and watch various alt sources of info which informs me that the US is actually owned by its federal reserve. The chinese hold US bonds have before threatened to simply dump them(default) on the global market thus cause further chaos in the US economy.

Seems your Corps and Global merchant banks have done a right royal job of screwing over you re ordinary american. Aussies are also screwed over however they live in gaga lala land of sport and beer other distractions & dont even realise it. In that respect americans are more awake than aussies. By awake david ickes definition comes closest to what I mean. Awoken from the nwo matrix most downunder still dont have clue what that even is thus they are even closer to dying on their knees. The average citizen has no guns either, however most dire of all most here seem to lack any sense of cyncism towards the government or civil services e.g. coppers, army etc.. I dont regard these institutions as on my side however most aussie support their government and civil service without question. As many conspiracy figures point out government any government is not our friend many can get this through their thick head.

Dumping us? I don't feel dumped,I see confusion as I have always seen it based on opinion. Not all Australians seem to agree. As to how many friends we have well that would depend on how YOU and your opinion would define it. I haven't told you not to become a satellite of China,I doubt anyone in your country is so stupid as to believe the humanitarian Chinese are somehow now the best buddies because of cash.We are having a bit of a mess because of our own banks taking the money elsewhere, they aren't percieved as heros now are they?
If you don't like ME personally well I guess I will still sleep at night despite the pain.

Bankers are the root of the problem not the United States citizens. Lobbyists and socialists own our government right now and they are making far more trouble than any in our history. There has never been such a devisive administration in my life time.
Hope you like rice...ALOT.

Australia is just doing the smart thing. Why the hell does Australia needs Petrodollar to buy from China and vice versa ?

This is just the natural order of things to come, getting rid of something that contributes nothing but takes almost everything. Your petrodollars are fast becoming useless and the Quantitative Easing will maim you but what's gonna kill you is when those foreign reserves of the world are coming to the USA to buy off everything that is still worth buying.

Those foreigners will own the best of what you still have.

Yeah they said the same about Japan a few years back as I recall. That didn't come through then either. Look we are having issues, these WILL be resolved and we will be fine again,as we have before.NOBODY adapts like us.

Let's hope this becomes a trend amongst nations. The US refuses to go back into isolationism of its own free will, but coalitions of nations can force it into economic isolation by refusing to trade its artificial and useless currency.

There are human beings, and then there are US citizens.

It is not possible for a human being to accept the cruelty of the actions of the US. Dropping nuclear weapons, using chemical warfare against citizens, repeated attacks on innocent nations, kidnapping children and taking them to the concentration camps operated by the US governments, this offends and disgusts human beings, and yet US Citizens never, ever bat an eyelid to these actions and worse. This is why I genuinely believe US citizens are not the same as humans.

I am most certainly not the OP, your opinions to the contrary, of which I am certain you hold, mean absolutely nothing to me.

Tell me, what sort of creature could know their nation caused Bhopal, and not feel even the slighted tinge of guilt over the suffering caused there, and the frankly inhuman response by those who caused it?

Not all Americans are bad. There are some like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff who speak out against the US government controlled by corrupted/sinister banksters and military complex.

I do agree with you about non-stop mainstream propaganda, terrorism, wars, economic manipulation and false flag attacks perpetrated by US and allies.
People all over the world keep asking when will these madness end.

It is not possible for a US citizen to break the mold. There is no such thing as a pleasant US Citizen.

Please stop referring to them as "Americans", it fuels their hugely arrogant belief that they are the sole inhabitants of the American Continents.

Looking through rose tinted glasses perhaps, not a student of US Imperialism? Look to South America in the 60s 70s and your CIA sponsored military dictators or how about KLA

from www.monitor.net...

"The multi-billion dollar Balkans narcotics trade has played a crucial role in financing the conflict in Kosovo in accordance with Western economic, strategic and military objectives. Amply documented by European police files, acknowledged by numerous studies, the links of the KLA to criminal syndicates in Albania, Turkey and the European Union have been known to Western governments and intelligence agencies since the mid-1990s."

How about Iraq or Libya...was it about democracy or oil or actually installing a Rothschild reserve bank "Fiat currency" when Libya wanted to create its own a Gold based Dinar....

I would also argue that the US is far more benevolent as a Superpower than ones to come before it. Now that doesn't mean everything the US does is justified. I'm just merely pointing out that superpowers do not have to be benevolent. And most certainly weren't when it comes to the British Empire, Roman Empire, Soviet Empire, etc. ,

Exactly, but dont forget to include yourselves in the above list...Benevolence as a trait of a Superpower is an oxymoron

However, I wouldn't categorize the US being on the same level of corruption as Russia. I have been all around the world,

What the heck! I am just laughing so much I swallowed my tongue and my face is turning blue. Were did Maddoffs millions disappear to? I mean seriously, do they make suitcases that big to ship that much paper money out?, or were the banks and regulators or politicians complicit in ensuing a smooth transition, seriously

After Lehmann why were banks bailed out in the National Interest as being "too big to fail", and then allowed to rebuy back their own "toxic assets" from the Govt for cents in the $.

"Systemic Risk" euphemism for grand Larceny by your overlords

Will you say to your children and grandchildren who will be left with the multi trillion debt to pay off.... "Sorry perhaps I was naive or I drunk too much fluoride cool aid...but we did have good intentions...and we did appear on the surface to be benevolant...I mean we didnt have USSR Gulags, or none that I could see in Google maps.
We had freedom of choice so we had minimum wage so we could consume $1 dollar burgers and 24 oz drinks...
and we turned a blind eye to the pesky Mexican refugees so we could have our houses cleaned cheaply and they could babysit you, and we never did get a handle on curbing the drug trade from Afghanistan even though we liberated the "country", in fact funnily enough drug exports from Asia actually increased under our Liberation paradigm...go figure...We can still say that the good ol' Yankee USA is a shining beacon of unbridled (hehe) Capitalism at its finest.

designed to spy on hostile countries, only to turn around and use it on their citizens. This is an issue. That is why civil liberties are starting to become a political issue now.

Starting to become a political issue!!!...yawn.....the writing was on the wall when 4 students were gunned down at Kent State University...while you were averting the Commie Bogeyman in SE Asia...or how about the Rodney King riots of LA....has meaningful change ever occured in the last 50 years in your nation?
You have allowed your benevolent dictator to take over whilst collecting your SocSec handouts and buying cheap imported goods...still I guess even though you lost it all you have the illusion of freedom... because you own 2-3 guns and can fight the Govt or an overseas invasion. Wake the heck up
