Well I've finally played my first gig playing the axe with my new band "Hammers", everything went off with no dramas! Excited to get this thing rollin', I'm currently studying to become a High School music teacher so it's a good break from that! If you're into a bit of blues influenced rock/metal you can check out the "tough bits" video compilation of parts from the gig ( there's a bit coloured language )

I'd also like to check out some of the stuff ATS is involved with and hear some stories from first gigs/any gigs in particular or just fun stories related to your music career! Cheers!

Listening to it now

My first gig was at the boardwalk in Manchester many many years ago, we started playing in front of about 80 people and after 2 songs something blew in my Bass amp so the tech guy was trying to fix it so we played without the Bass, but it wasn't going down to well. So I told the band lets just have five mins to try and fix it.
I was the singer also and the crowd started getting rowdy so I started telling jokes.
That's when the chicken wire came down and the bottles started flying lol, the amp was completely broken so a 45 minute gig lasted about 20 mins.
Had a great after gig party though

PS liked it well done
great skills

Sounds good. You've got some talent. You looked pretty comfortable up there too. I've done a few shows in the past and my mouth goes dry and my hands are all sweaty after the first song or two. Love the groovy guitar riffs.

Very nicely played! Looks like an SG?
I've been fortunate enough to have been in about 6 bands and 100's of shows.
Each one I played was filled with nerves and sour stomachs. Been there.
Once I played the first chord, it all disappeared and turned into excitement!
I guess it comes with the territory.
Few beers usually solve that...

Congrats on the good music.
I like your style because I can hear it.
Keep it up man it sounds great!
