Picked up by RT as well

rt.com...

Funny how can you claim to enter a state of war when you never left it in the first place? Last I knew the war was on hold not over

In modern warfare, people who mean to do something don't talk about it.
They need the element of surprise.

The same could be said about WW2 apparently, it never officially ended and I see the same with the Korea twins.

When you hear South Korean news announce the same thing in reciprocation? Then war has openly begun and ....we'll see each other on the other side when it's over.

Until then... Kim is blabbering some more and tempting a situation that is increasingly losing safe ways to exit.

It is kind of odd, if I recall they are at war, not a truce, but simply a ceasefire. Now what the hell "declared" war means versus anything else is beyond my legal mind, but to my knowledge they have never been "not at war," they've just stopped shooting while Samsung was being born...

Maybe North Korea re-declared war, just to surrender to South Korea and finally start living a normal life ?! This way, it's a winning side headache to bring the newly aquered territories "up to civilize code". Look at a bright side, everybody!

Well, we are only 2 days away from the 31st.

This could be the first time in history that a prediction date comes true.

Is it just me or is North Korea making A LOT more threats then it used to? And they're being more specific then before especially then when Kim il was in power.

I don't know, but you guys shouldn't be dismissing the situation just because it's North Korea. I have a feeling they're planning something big.

i know m8 laugh it up ..(it is almost laughable.. and terrifying at the same time when you really think about it).

was just announced on sky news.. again

North Korea has declared it has 'Entered a state of War' with south Korea..

i guess we will stop laughing when a nuke go's off.. no one has any idea what different sides are capable of.. and in times of massive economic depression , global wars are common..

I ask all of you this - what "rhetoric" is left on the table?

Saying you're at war pretty much leaves nothing left to say - right?

There will be no more rhetoric.

I take them at their word and if the US and SK were smart they would too.

I have a sneaking suspicion China is behind this.

This will probably go hot real soon.

Dennis Rodman needs to take this little squirt over his knee and spank him. I don't know who's really pulling the strings over there, but it's got to be someone with not too much on the ball. And for another metaphor, if Kim von Trapp or whatever his name is can't get his head on straight he may have no head at all to speak of.

It's been in a 'state' of war since 1953 !!!!!

The only difference here is they are suffering and need to crow to get attention. War will annialate them. If you're on a comfortable ticket like most elite in NK would you jeopardize that for the war you cannot win?

My personal opinion is that the NK Regime is crumbling. The population starved and angry this is an attempt to divert the North Koreans attention outward rather than inward..

When a dying mad dog is backed into the corner, their may be only one last option, and that is to lash out and bite one last time before your taken out one way or the other.

My worry is the size of the bite......

North Korea wants a unified Korea led by their party. I bet China does too...Communist camrades stick together.

So, I'm headed to the Hawaiian islands a week from tomorrow... I have no idea what to think. Planning for a nice vacation and hoping for no conflicts.
