Very true. I gave applause to a member today that was opposed to my stance in a thread but it was so well crafted and devoid of extreme emotional content that it had to have been. Damn good post.

As to applause for staff? Just do what I do. PM the staffer with "Applause" in the title with a link to the post. Commentary as to why if you like.

I am truly sorry to say this. The point I got from the replies, is that in order to get applaues. Your comment is left up to review from the staff. A staff in charge of a site, that promotes conspiracies.


So if you give facts that refute a thread which promotes conspriacies. Your chances of getting applause are very slim????

I love this site, but I can see the hipocrisy, of the system, which promotes conspiriacy but denies the facts.

I have seen many irrefutable statements that receive no kudos.

A conspriacy is a conspriacy, until facts are delivered to prove that there is no conspriacy. Yet when someone is shown that their thought;s are dribble. There is seldom any kudos given.

Intr...... please don't take offense to a statement that while true, you don't happen to agree with.

Lucky for me the points mean nothing, seeing as how I am at -10,000.

Id say applause is always a good thing. Although sometimes the mod may not give specific reasons why.

Reality is both subjective and objective. There is no absolute truth, only lots of little truths.

ATS is a private site with strict rules about tolerance and respect for other peoples' opinions.

They allow us to converse rationaly with people all over the globe. With decorum.

Kudos is an honour, not a privilege.
