U2U me....I can send you about 100 MP3's from Robert Johnson, Pat Travers, TBone Walker to Joe Bonamassa, Clapton, BB, Albert Collins, Elmores James,
Allmans etc, etc, etc, Marcia Ball....Professor Longhair etc....
Ok, I'm going to share two tracks from two bands I can't get enough of lately, and the reason for my sudden interest in guitar driven blues/rock,
and my wanting to get an electric guitar.... Soon, hopefully...
my current favorite guitarist. Jack White, of The White Stripes
and one of the best albums I've recently stumbled upon, The Big Come Up by the Black Keys.
The highlight for me, the first track:
Who knows, maybe someday I'll play like this, one can only dream....
Haha, I thought it complicated too, but then I realised one of the little green and black button on the top of the reply page says vid:youtube, click
it and copy/paste whats after the 'watch?v=' of the youtube URL.
If you listen very carefully to the guitar jam on track 2, when it slows down, you will realize that that sound is, indeed, the entire band
wearing chainmail and clapping their hands.
Also, the combination of Trower's guitar and Dewar's (bass) vocals creates a machine that carves the badness from men's souls.
Canadians eh?
Here's one from Triumph. They typically included at least one awesome instrumental on their records. A way to show off Rik Emmett's guitar chops.
This is a great example of those chops!
you have to get an electric!!!! there is so much you can do with it and so much more you can play. i found when i just started with my accoustic i
would hit plateaus and get out of the mood to play! by getting somthing new it would reinvigor me to learn more and play more. now at a stoppage i
will go out and get differnt pedals and effects and im back into it every time! keep making beautiful music and never stop rocking
Thats exactly why i want to get one, I'm still a beginner with a cheap acoustic mind you, but after having learned the basic 12 bar blues scale, I
found it really fun to play. So now I want to crank it up a notch and make it sound heavier and dirtier, so much more fun to learn!
