I'm pretty sure the targaryns had some good battles with each other in the past on top of their dragons.

And the show didn't cover much as to what is in the far northeast of estros.
The targaryens were taught how to train and ride the dragons by another group and there is an area similar to north of the wall where black magic is practiced and crazy deal like that.
I was kind of disappointed that there was never any mention as far as weather the whites were in estos rampaging also really.

Maybe that is why the dragon destroyed the chair and not Jon.

Drogon didn't set Jon alight for the simple reason that he is a Targaryen.

As for where did Drogon take Daenerys after she died; how about to another priestess of R'hllor like Melisandre.....if Jon can come back from the dead why can't she?
And it does set up a sequel somewhere down the line.

One of the things that I thought was present in the closing of the episode, intentionally or just by happenstance, was that each of the remaining characters has now gone off to make the "realm" bigger. The six kingdoms may now be unified under some democratic principles but the "game of thrones" can still continue on a bigger map. Generations from this point will the Wildlings, the North, The Democratic Republic of Wester World, and the Many Faced westerns find themselves in battle again to rule over the now bigger known world.

Daenerys and her Dragon flying to the east could be part of that story.

I mentioned earlier that it would have made for a cool post-credit scene.

We may still see it.....when the actors stars have faded and the show runners future projects are relative failures, what better than a 'what happened next' series to re-ignite stardom.....and money?
After all, it is all rather open ended.

Quick question, are we staying right here or are you making another master thread for the prequel..?
Or are you even going to watch it?

I was just wondering..

They never finished the honeycomb and a jackass joke. Instead they teased it again.

Would be something if they carried the tease into the spinoff. A joke that was older than recorded history.

Would be better if they tried to forget they ever made it. It's unbelievable how bad it was. No more. Please.
