In other news:

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun wrote in his blog for ESPN.com on Wednesday that the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, New York Rangers and even the Vancouver Canucks would show interest in acquiring Ryane Clowe from San Jose. But according to LeBrun, Habs GM Marc Bergevin may not be keen about giving up prime, future assets for a rental player and wouldn't have the "all-in" mentality of Boston and Pittsburgh when it comes to the trade deadline. The early price on Clowe is reportedly a first-round pick and another young asset.

I don't know what they (Vancouver management) are thinking when it comes to Lou. I know that the twins are teh sux in the playoffs, (how about a powerplay goal already) Trade them! lol! strange time to be a nuks fan fer sure...

Yeah...you guys would do well to add some support for the Sedins.....especially with Kessler unable to keep himself healthy

Iginla still plays hockey, huh? Could've fooled me! I remember years ago when he was the hottest news in the NHL. But I've never seen him score a goal, or earn an assist. He seems like a pretty quiet player to me. Granted, I'm not a big Calgary fan and don't watch them all that much. I mostly pay attention to the Pacific division, being a Kings fan.

I still miss Ryan Smyth now that he's back in Edmonton. He's a hockey machine! I do like that we got Richards from the Flyers though. That guy is a hockey zombie! "Must...score...goals! goals! GOALS!"

The Bruins lost twice last night. First they blow the game against the Habs, then find out that they missed out on Iginla. The resulting reaction was not wholly unexpected:

Iggy was going to the Boston Ruins? That's just not right!
Pittsburg? Iggy a Penguin? Man ... he belongs in Canada.

Anyways .. we've got Gagne back.
So everything is right again with the Broad Street Bullies.

Ok I've had a day to think about this...
Five franchise players on one team? (Crosby, Neil,Malkin, Fleury , Iggy)

...get real, salary cap BS is fixed.

Please. Iginla is old, and Fleury and Neil are definitely NOT franchise players. Even Malkin I'd argue is not a franchise player anymore. Too fragile.

However, Crosby is the best player in the world right now. So you're one out of five.
