That is very interesting points you make. I was of the same opinion until early this week.

I tried to create a thread about the biggest internet social media site in the world being infiltrated with child porn and it was thrashed immediately.
I was simply told that child porn was off-limits on this site. I did point out other threads on the subject and that many continued discussions about the subject. I was told that these were older threads and that some more recent ones must have escaped the mods.
Of course if I believed in conspiracies I might suspect that ATS is having its strings pulled by the worlds biggest social media site. Of course that's just been silly.

Interesting... Perhaps a staff member can chime in for a moment to clarify things on policy as it's carried on a daily basis? It's news to me..but thanks for the info, I'll certainly keep it in mind for being that much more sensitive to context and reference until I hear something more official.

Oh so true. Some of the most psychotic people can easily hide in any of those institutions. Just this week we had a cop who was busted in a child porn ring... been on the force for years. Who knows what sort of sick crap he was able to get away with in that time because he was a trusted "officer of the law'? Question authority in all it forms .. always and in a very loud voice for all to hear. Stop children, what's that sound? everyone look what's goin' down ...
