Police: Officer put camera in Glen Burnie school bathroom

www.wbaltv.com

Big Brother is a Damn Pervert, Now he is Putting Cameras In your Childs School Bathroom

On Friday, police said detectives executed at least one search warrant and have seized several computers in connection with the investigation.

A Glen Burnie High School student found the small camera in plain view in a top corner of one of the boys' bathrooms in the media center Wednesday morning, authorities said.

School officials said after the boy reported the camera to them, they searched all of the other bathrooms and locker rooms for any more devices, and they searched again Thur

The officer in question was working in a special investigations unit. He. Claims that he did it so he could keep an eye on any unruliness as well as fighting.

The department claims that they were not aware of this. BUT, did they guy go out and buy his own camera for this "Investigation", OR, did he sign out the equipment from the tool bin?

Just makes you wonder where we are heading to as a society.

Our privacies are being Violated on a daily basis with no recourse.

Do you suppose that it might be possible that the "Special Officer" was acting to fulfill his own perverted homosexual urges or the departments urges?

The officer is on PAID Administrative Leave which means that it may be possible he was acting in the interest of the department.

The does absolutely nothing for the argument that we should keep our kids in schools.

Can you imagine if it was your daughters school bathroom.

I'm sure his next stop is a TSA check point in your neighborhood airport groping your kids.

Imagine they found that a janitor did this. The parents should stir up a proverbial &^$# storm to get this sob charged and dealt with according to the law.

They'd call it production of child porn if anyone else was caught putting cameras in the boys room of a school. I wonder if this was positioned where the stalls and/or urinals were in view? I can't see how it wouldn't be. I hate to note it, but there really are some sick puppies out there.

It bothers me more, not less that the story says they found no recordings or images too. So..Where are they? He didn't stick that up there for the trouble and effort it had to require, to do nothing at all with it. That makes no sense. If it was legitimate, he ought to have been keeping properly documented records of it and what it was doing in case it DID show something. How else to show it was a credible source for evidence later, right? He's a cop after all.

So....something smells a little pervy around here. A warped kind of pervy, at that.

Reads to me as if this was one incident where some guy decided that he would take matters into his own hands has had his plan backfire on him.

As they claim no evidence to point to video recordings or images, maybe they caught him at the right time, OR he had no intention of doing anything than he claims.

I certainly don't see big brother here.. if anything it was big brother that removed it all and is investigating.

I am Certain that if it had been a school employee of any sort there would have been no "Paid Leave".

And, that the school was not even notified brings the officers motives into question.

They said that they did not find any other cameras in the school, however, what if he was a little more careful in hiding it in the girls restroom.

In Soviet Russia, bathroom go to you.

In Soviet Russia, nose powders you.

And In Soviet Russia, even they didn't do things like this.

I hope someone gets fired, imprisoned, drawn and quartered, and marched through town naked with a sign saying "Kick Me".

A boy said he had found the camera in a top corner of the bathroom. The video the news showed was from the point of the view from the bottom corner of the stall.

As for no footage. It is VERY easy to transmit the video to anywhere.

I know it happened in Maryland, But, I think the officer was taking the term "Nanny State" a little too seriously.

AND, absolutely Heads should roll.
I think being drawn and quartered would be too quick for the theft of the innocent.

That's what I mean. That stuff got recorded somewhere, I'll bet. If he had it all nice and orderly in recorded folders on a computer, I'd half way believe him. Maybe.

I sure hope nothing the camera saw got out anywhere... I couldn't imagine being a student and having that kind of imagery ... Well, he needs more than suspended. They need to be criminally investigating this until he can show he wasn't perv'ing the boys room. It's too serious and suspicious in my opinion. (REAL hard to see how ANY sane adult, let a lone a cop, could ever see that as proper?)

Home.

School.

If you aren't intelligent and educated enough to teach your child through high school, should you even be having children in the first place? (Exception to the unintentionally-single parents; I feel for you, in more than one way.)

Home school is starting to look like the best solution. The problem is convincing your kids. They really aren't thrilled about drill Sargent mom breathing down their necks all day long. I can't say I blame them. I would have run away from home if my mother wanted to home school me. Military school would have been an easier option. Schools today are a total joke. Sissy teachers and no corporal punishment. Kids back talking and their sassy mouths. Unbelievable! Here's an idea, start demanding respect from these kids in the first place instead of monitoring their actions from the situation room.

LOL, there's no problem there at all. My kids will do what I tell them to do, so long as I start enforcing that from an early age.
They legally have no choice, and will know no different, so long as I don't try to spring discipline on them just because they reached a certain birthday.

I ran away from home at 16, clear across the country. I would have loved it if my mom had homeschooled me. My mom was a total B, but homeschool is done in like 4 hours when the parent teaching it is intelligent (which mine was/is). I HATED sitting in a classroom for 8 hours a day. I wanted to be in the woods, and I could have been----learning about nature and the mathematics of it and how to best use English to describe it, with my mom.

Any teacher touches my kid, and they will regret it. *I* will be the parent. You have a problem? Call me. You still have a problem after that? Expel my kid, and make me deal with it. It's the lack of repercussions on the PARENTS that's the problem, not the lack of being able to take our frustrations out physically on our kids, let alone allowing strangers to do it. "Don't hit! Now bend over and let me hit you!"

Here's an idea: start demanding that people over the age of 18 be adults. I don't care if you're a single parent; I have known MANY single parents (like my own) that were present, responsible and took parenting seriously despite working full-time jobs (and sometimes two or three). If you can't raise your child to behave to a reasonable extent in school, and can't homeschool them yourself, then into jail with you or go find another country. Throw all of the non-violent offenders out of jail to make room for the people who are RAISING FUTURE VIOLENT OFFENDERS. Stop Hitler before he starts again. Stop making this country a nanny state that takes care of all of its leeches, no mater how poisonous they are to our country, no matter whether they live on welfare or in the top 1%. Be done with the parasites.

This is the problem with creating positions of power that circumnavigate standard rights and rules that govern people. Just like priests in the Catholic church, "build it and they will come", or in this case, "create a job that lets pedos be pedos without scrutiny and they will come."

One of the reasons Police, Church and Government powers need to be limited is because they will draw certain mentality types into their service.

Simple as that.

This was found in a boy's bathroom but you ask us to imagine if it was in our daughter's bathroom? Why does it make a difference?

Boy's or girl's school bath room seems about the same to me. Disgusting either way.

Peace

When they promote you to moderator, I'll take that under advisement. Until then, you're not, I won't and your comment was interesting to see.

I've been in NUMEROUS discussions here in some depth at times, about SOME aspects of child porn. It's not the topic that I've ever seen them get very touchy on but what direction and how it's handled. Like 100 other topics we discuss here. The line between news related debate and illegal activity is just a turn of the topic in the wrong direction or someone with terminally bad judgement (or worse) going off and starting to BECOME what we're discussing as evil, in context.

@ Oh... I can't resist pointing this out. One liner replies are against T&C. Since we're suddenly interested in noting such little things.

So pedophiles now found a way to legally get their fix on watching young boys in school bathrooms in the name of "security and for the good of the nation"

Way to go "trusted government entities and officials".

I hope that the LEO internal affairs looks into this pedos computers. I doubt if it will however because the Blue code will kick in and he will just get a reprimand. Law enforcement protects its own. They are far above ordinary citizens and operate by a different standard. Here's a blatant example...
