You use money to make money. The more you make the more you have, the more you have the more you can make. So if you have some you can make more and it grows and grows (am I keeping it simple enough?) and because you earn more at 9% on 100,000 than 10,000 you earn more (is it still simple enough for you?)

Don't tell me you cannot change your circumstances yourself..you choose not to by staying where you are, doing what you do and blaming everyone else. Its all bollocks. I've seen those in debt become rich by their own effort. I've been both ways. I can be done, it is being done. Rich is not always money either.

The one complaining here (Cultcall) is neither rich in money, brains or attitude... or anything else for that matter.

Yet another jaw dropping thread full of people who have absolutely no idea what socialism is. I'm suprised so many can even spell it. Anyone who seriously thinks that the US is "socialist" in any way really needs to take medication.....or even better.....visit other parts of the world DUH! The US is the most right wing capitalist country on the planet.

Now back to OP. The rich are sucking the wealth out of everything in all western economies. Please don't give me the "wealth creating, job creating" defense. That line has been proved to be utter boll.cks in many countries where that "theory" was allowed free reign. The rich take advantage of the many imbalances in western economies to ensure they maximise their income at the expense of hard working people. The two biggest imbalances are unemployment and cheap immigrant labour. Both of which give the rich a nice weapon to use to minimse pay rates. This is why western middle/low incomes have fallen in real terms and ever greater wealth is ending up in ever fewer hands. It's disgusting and immoral.

Yes, America has joined the ranks of Russia and China in having a socialist underclass. While the capitalists of American and Russia and China make and control the wealth.

The capitalists of America, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Canada and on and on, dole out the welfare to the socialists.

It has to be done. Can't be having socialists starving in the streets. It's the human thing to do.

Socialism is about the insiders getting richer, while everyone else poorer. This is what they don't teach u in school because the banks fund the schools.

Socialism controls the economy while the politicians and the insiders collect the taxes and nationalize business. They essential get a hold on the entire economy, everyone becomes poor except them. China and Venezuela is a prime example, how else did Hugo Chavez have a net worth of 2 billion dollars.

Hmm odd numbers considering the Rich lost 70% or there wealth during the housing melt down and have not recovered sense then. Under Clinton the middle class grew 70% and produced a ton of new millionairess from the middle class due to stock options. Under little Bush 1% did make more money while middle class suffered. Obama took over the mess little bush left war debt, housing crisis, and high oil. Obama did not create any of the current issue we have he got stuck with the bar tab after bush and his buddies had a 8 year party.

That is socialism with sh*tty leaders As I have said before in another thread, historically the only socialist countries are the nowadays Scandinavian countries. Soviet Union, NK, China, Venezuala - none of them are/were socialist countries. On paper they might be, although they share no values with socialism. They basically turned the system into dictatorship, where everybody else were slaves and the top raked in the crops. Although overally socialistic democracy should be something extremely different, as socialism (=people).

Overally currently rich will always get richer. Think on it logically, for example bankers. Let us say the have x amount which they loan out on 10% interest rate. They give out x, get back 1,1. At the same time the poor guy who got the loan pays 10% extra for the product. Overally the rich ones simply get 10% more money firom thin air (no value created, simply because he had available money), while the poor guy has to get an extra job to pay the interests That is how the system works. Poor guy works, for the rich their money works for them

Most right-wing, yes. Most capitalist, no. That would be Hong Kong.

Note, that Hong Kong has socialized medicine costing 4-5% of GDP spending, unlike USA's pathetic 20%.

Because cost-effective socialized medicine is good for capitalism. Though it's bad for profiteering.
