I started with this hobby in early 2009 my first telescope was a Meade ETX-70 and ended with a big 11" telescope

I've wondered the same thing. Maybe you could grab high-res photographs of the moon, load them into the GNU Image Manipulation Program and compare them.

The production quality matched the quality of the content. Not easy to do. Thanks for sharing your work.
