The fashion Police didn't confiscated them... i burned them out of shame!

I even did this for a while :



But kept getting my head kicked in so reverted back to the New Wave/Gothic come flat top style... remember the Cramps...

Now just a boring old got out of bed first thing in the morning style like the picture below (which by the way bears a very similar resemblance to what i look like now... sort of!)



Edit to add : Must admit i am still a massive fan of some of the great groups of the 60 and 70s through to 80s though : The Troggs, The Animals, The Who.. Kinks etc... but still have all my Depeche mode, Soft Cell, Japan, Simple minds and Alphaville records etc etc stashed away in the garage... and i will let you into a secret... i think Tom Jones is ace

Cool stuff.
I loved all the same sort of stuff. Led Zeppelin was/is my first love and hard rock/metal but thanks to a wide variety of friends with different tastes my record collection was very eclectic and I enjoy a wide selection of music from that era, Soft Cell was a particular guilty pleasure, Japan, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, New Order and all the old punk stuff can transport me into the past to some great times.


And as for liking Tom Jones...

Basil - Love it!
Cyril - OK with it.
Horace - So-so.
Willie - Prefer William.
Norman - No opinion.
Alfred/Albert - Grampa's name, so... creepy?
Rupert - Like Murdoch? Also creepy.
Bernard - Love it!
Archibald - OK with it.
Sidney - Love it!
Herman - Meh. Not a fan.
Herbert - Actually it kind of really bothers me how French names are pronounced by English speakers.
Cecil - Love it!
Percy - Like Percival Lowell? Love it!
