Use The Search Feature!

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the new search is a bit.... crap
I didn't know the ask search was still working though thats a good tip!

I posted a thread here

Then a half hour later this popped up

So I posted in the second thread this exactly
"posted here also"

SNF

so I starred it flagged it and replied in the duplicate thread, That post was removed as an off topic post

and a message from a mod saying this
"Not cool to link to your own thread..... His is in Breaking news and yours isn't, ATS allows 2 threads as long as they're posted like that.

You were just bringing attention to your thread.

Also, by adding SNF, doesn't make it on topic, it makes it a "one line post".


so what the hell is the point of the search feature the mods just do whatever they want anyway..

so I say post away with the duplicate threads and let the mods close them
