The writers of the Constitution did not even consider armed rebellion a possiblity because they were creating a new type of Goverment that was the people. This is an interesting perspective. I have to wonder where you got this idea.

The states demanded self defense primarily because of the distrust of a federal government. Madison talked about it in some depth. The current and massive federal capacity this day and age to potentially wage war with the people simply reinforces the original calls for the right by ten fold. Not to mention how the many other capacities the federal exercises currently and has at its disposal to coerce the people and the states simply reinforce the reasoning behind the 2nd amendment and many other arguments about the potentially dangers of a federal government.

Actually I was saying why sit around and run your mouth about the government and collect up abunch of guns and ammo.

When the government is already telling you every move they're gonna make before they do it.

Well of course I'm not, I'm not an American and I'm not allowed to own guns and ammo.

Why not run your mouth about the government though? They ought to be called out on their bull#. And why not store guns and ammo? It could always come in handy.

I'm wondering if I'm correctly detecting a hint of satisfaction at the prospect of people not being able to do anything about the all encroaching government? Not saying I'm right but I've seen that before in leftists salivating at the thought of the government cracking down on Tea Party types.

My point was people get on here and cry about this and cry about that. And they know dam well that they know the truth behind it all.

For example blaming a president is like blaming a head coach.

They are nothing but faces who are supposed to take the heat off the main office!!

My point here was they tell you everything they are doing. And your not going to do anything about it because they aren't doing anything wrong just yet!

And if they did all the work they have put in to bringing god to everyone and helping everyone build their fantasy land ie after life will have gone out the window.

Also, dissent can be running rampant... and people will take up arms against their government. Losing ones voice, freedom of speech and so forth would result in some taking up arms. But that doesn't mean that those even with the freedom of speech won't do the same.

Pretty much, everything you said was wrong.

Your freedom of speech will barely outlast your right to bare arms.

I understand your stance but if there was some nefarious plan, I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to tell you to shut up or face jail while you are armed. It would stand to reason that the right to bare arms will likely be removed before the freedom of speech.

Once your disarmed, what are going to do about being told to shut up or face prison?

I won't take up arms. I'll find a secluded spot and setup some form of survival. It will have to be mobile because I can't very well fight 100's of arms troops. I've learned to live like an animal and my mind set is really okay with it. All the bravado you spewing won't change the fact you're #ed also. I accept it.
