Is it just me, or does it seem like there are less and less interesting UFO sightings.
They are inveterate liars and deceivers, and delight in bamboozling and misleading mankind with all manner of nonsense. They are addicted to the abduction or kidnapping of humans. (The Scotsman Robert Kirk, who wrote "The Secret Commonwealth" in 1691, evidently "knew more than was good for his health", and was killed by them.)
The True Nature Of The 'UFO Entities' By Gordon Creighton
“UFOs are real but they are not physical. They are messengers of deception”Jacques Vallee
The UFOs do not seem to exist as tangible, manufactured objects. They do not conform to the natural laws of our environment. They seem to be nothing more than transmogrifications tailoring themselves to our abilities to understand. The thousands of contacts with the entities indicate that they are liars and put-on artists. I actually tried to make a thread about that.

So that brings me to the point of the headline. Because today, we see videos from youtube, and mostly they are lights in the sky, they are sometimes still disc shaped, but dosn't look like the metal looking hardware from the old days.
So does it exist, the flying saucer? It seems to have vanished, in to thin air, and as we entered the digital era, the flying saucer upgraded to flashy lights, some even transformed in to triangular shape.
When they come on video, they are blurred, shaky and sometimes obviusly fake.

People aren't looking at the sky now that we have flat-panel displays, the Internet, cell phones, and hand-held game devices.
The cherry blossoms are in bloom in Japan, but people walk down the street texting and don't notice much off-screen.
UFOs can buzz around with impunity and go unnoticed.

I feel like the UFOs have all flown away, back to wherever they came from. What happened to the quality sightings and investigations that seemed to occur weekly back in the 50s 60s 70s and 80s? Have they been replaced by hoaxes on youtube, barely comprehensible three sentence "sighting reports" with poor grammar on mufon.com? Every once in a while the MUFON UFO journal will have some investigated sighting reports. Every once in a while.
Are UFOs dying? Could the subject die out completely? Would it even be possible? In 100 years, or even 50, could there be a sizable amount of the population that doesn't even know about the UFO phenomenon? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe more people are interested in the subject after all. I hope so.
What do you think? is the subject dying?edit on 17-3-2013 by thesearchfortruth because: (no reason given)
