The quote is from Kybalion.
The message is completely lost it seems

What message? I understand both your unquoted 'quotes' on their own but in the context of the OP they are meaningless, intentionally inserted to sound mysterious, wise and profound.

It seems ironic that most people stumble around not really living, afraid to be who they really are and then when they get the chance online, instead of being honest and up front they reinvent them selves again with a new false identity/personality and give it the big "I am yoda" routine.

If the words you use are not yours have the courtesy to quote the original author properly. It shows respect and is likely to earn you the same in return.

It is not my concern what you think of me as this can only be a reflection of your own "mental construct". If you tried to understand this instead of focusing your attention outward you might understand this sooner, and why i cant just tell you what your answers are. I have left some "cookie crumbs" but ultimately each person needs to find their own "cookie monster".
Some more crumbs can be found here

Alternatively you can continue creating external judgement which of course is only telling "your story".

Nice idea.
Kind of unrelated: I recently watched the movie "paycheck" with Ben Affleck, in it they create a machine with a lens powerful to see around the curvature of the universe, their theory is that you would look through it and it would bend around the universe and end up looking back at yourself (ok) now here's the bit I couldn't understand, you'd be looking at yourself in the future, no matter were you are you look back at yourself in the future.
It made no sense at all to me. Does it to any of you?

Since mankind hasn't figured out what reality is yet we are doomed to repeat cycles of the past. Why view it when your living it right up to the point when we nuke ourselves.

The only way we can stop cycles is to view them which means we must see the past, its important for us to know the past with accuracy. Our past is linked to our future!

So view them now. Why do you think you need "technology" to see this?
Reality is a paradox in itself.
Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, Education destroys knowledge, Governments destroy freedom, media destroys information and religion destroys spirituality.
You see the "problems" are not outside of ourselves but when we look to correct it outside of ourselves this is what we end up with
THE PRINCIPLE OF RHYTHM. - “Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.”

I will simplify this a bit more since it is the OP's thread and i did like the idea that was brought to the "table".
Due to the paradoxical nature of reality everything becomes inverted when we look "outside" of our own minds. This could also possibly explain why when we view things with our retina's the image is back to front and upside down. The brain converts this to something we can work with such as sight.
Now i am suggesting that if reality is inverted wouldn't it make sense to look at the past to see the future instead of the other way around? We just have to look at the last 200 years to see the pattern or the cycle (not to mention something has wiped out at least one other more advanced civilization in the past).
Where the principle of rhythm fits into this. By trying to stop the cycle by correcting our past mistakes using "external control systems" (military and police forces) instead of "internal control systems" (self discipline and personal responsibility), we only perpetuate the situation and it gains more momentum (just like pushing a pendulum one way really hard it will swing back the other way just as hard). The harder the "external control system" pushes the more control systems are required to deal with the situation and this goes on until the momentum gets out of control and someone presses "the button" and before you can say "crikey what was that" the world changes again.
