We tend to observe mirages most often during the daylight, but superior mirage conditions commonly occur during the night. Indeed, inversion formation is much more frequent during the night hours, at times occurring nightly for long stretches.

There was a swimmer in the area. When my dog barks at something he often looks around but I can't really tell in the video exactly what direction the dog is looking.
