Welcome to ATS! I have a colleague who is from Poland, 53 years old, lived through the end of communism in Poland, Lech Walenski (really bad attempt of spelling - I can't even pronounce my friend's last name, and I've known him for 15 years!)

I don't know how old you are, and what you've lived through, but, I just want to say, I've learned a lot about what was really happening in Poland during that era.

I live in Wisconsin - lots of Polish immigrants here - both past and recent.

On ATS, it's very revealing just having people posting what's really happening in their countries, as opposed to what the media tells us. NOW, that's conspiracy in any language!

Looking forward to your posts - Just have a tough shell when defending your beliefs - not everyone is an atheiest here - me included.

I still drink, but I gave up public sobbing in favor of just wearing Lisa Minelli make-up and screaming into a mirror while hysterically crying. This is what I do each night from eight PM until midnight. It stains my cocktail dresses, but it is sssssoooo very therapeutic.
