I made a sirloin roast over the weekend and wanted to turn it into a couple different meals later in the week. I really like take one big piece of meat and making more than one meal out of it. It saves money for one and two you get to have something completely different each time that is just as tasty as the one before. Besides this pizza I will probably take the mushroom/onion sauce mixture that was created from the roast and serve that over egg noodles with the beef on top. That would be tasty! Or I could add some sour cream and a couple other ingredients and make it into stroganoff.

I have been craving a white pizza lately with Alfredo sauce and I had some pie crusts and everything else to make a mini pizza. It was a quick and easy way to make a pizza and it was so good I wish I had made my own pie crust so I could have more! I usually make my pizza dough but even I don't always want to make dough from scratch. It is much easier esp while pregnant to buy the pre-made pizza doughs. It's hard to knead the dough with my belly hitting the counter lol So I get this little pack of 2 pizza crusts at the Dollar Tree of all places. It's a great little individual pizza crust and you get two for a buck! They are made in the USA which I like and come from a family run company. That is one thing i like about the Dollar Tree the family owned companies you help when buying their product vs corporate run places. They also don't have those modified ingredients either which has been something I really pay attention to now.

Anyway I sliced the roast I made over the weekend into strips and then cut those strips in half. I cooked the steak on the foreman with the mushrooms (which were canned organic ones). Again I like fresh mushrooms but I used them on the roast.
I always have canned ones as back up for recipes like this where mushrooms are a must! I then added some fresh diced tomato and montreal steak seasoning and sprinkled with fresh shredded parmesan cheese. I used an Italian cheese blend instead of just mozzarella for the cheese on the pizza. I also brushed the crust with EVOO and topped it with some fresh shredded parmesan cheese. I used jar Alfredo sauce as the sauce. I keep that stocked for meals like this, to be quick and easy! I just heated it on the stove top and spread it on the pizza crust instead of a red sauce. Now normally I would make my white sauce that I use for pizza but I wanted quick and easy! I have made white pizza before but it was a little different and all from scratch. This steak one was a quick meal and ready in 20 mins even with cooking and prep!

All you need is some left over steak meat, tomato, Alfredo sauce, parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella or a an Italian blend cheese, mushrooms and a pizza crust...Oh an EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). If you have the Montreal Steak Seasoning then that is a bonus, believe me!

I seriously think I'm going to make my own pie crust tomorrow and make this again! I have one more small pie crust left and I'm seriously thinking of making another one of these even though it's almost 8pm lol I am eating for two
so one more won't hurt.
Now if I can just get up off the floor I'll be good......

sounds good.

you may like this one.

chicken cuts into bits, and put in barbeque sauce, and then instead of a red sauce use a creamy garlic sauce, i like the lighter cheese, but extra cheese is all good on this pizza.

back to your pizza if you added spinach(i think, or some other green) to it and some blue cheese crumbles you would have a steak Gorgonzola pizza, u should try that, i have never had it, just thought of it right now as im typing, cooking is a valuable skill, keep it up.

That sounds good but one I'll have to try after I have the baby. This would cause some major heartburn for me right now. I love garlic sauce and haven't put it on a pizza like this so I will definitely have to try it! Thanks.

I do have spinach and blue cheese and Gorgonzola. I am a bit of a cheese but! I dedicate one crisper to cheese lol This would be a great add on! I will add some fresh spinach to it next and sprinkle crumbled gorgonzola on top! MMMMM!

I love to cook as I'm sure most know on here who read my cooking threads

I too think it's a valuable skill to know as well. It really does save you money when you know how to really cook plus it's tastier and healthier...and you always have people who want to try your food so there is no shortage of "guinea pigs" to try your recipes out on. Hehe. It's a free meal!

Omg those sound kind of gross lol

The french fries and gravy however that could be interesting. It could be the pregnancy hormones that are telling me this IDK. lol
