All of the above........... Or,

We truely only have a tiny fraction of the history of the sun, and are completely clueless of anything about our dear star. Prolly no doom here folks. Just the ignorance we try to deny.

"In Reciprocal System (RS) physics, Larson comes up with..the conclusion that astronomers have
the stellar (and galactic) evolutionary sequences backwards! In Universe of Motion, Larson shows the consequences of what happens when you flip stellar evolution around, making red giants the youngest stars, and the blue giants the oldest....As a consequence to setting the stellar evolutionary sequence straight, some conclusions are different
than popular belief:
• Stars start out as large dust clouds, condense into red supergiants, orange giants, yellow then
white main sequence stars, then on up to blue giants, then supernova. The same process as
heating up a piece of metal, from the initial red glow to where it gets blue-hot and breaks.
• Since stars are built from dust and debris as fuel, the more fuel available, the hotter the sun will
get.
As David Wilcock has identified in the past, planetary moons are leaving “trails” throughout the
solar system, indicating we've entered a dusty area of space. With all this dust and debris
available for stellar fuel, the sun is growing in size and getting hotter, moving from a class-G
(yellow) star to a class-F (yellow-white) star.
• Because our system of long-term dating is based on an assumption of radioactive elements
being formed when the Earth was born—not being produced regularly—our system of geologic
eras is drastically wrong. Astronomical events move thousands of times faster than assumed by
astronomers. The planet and solar system are no where near as old as claimed and mankind has
been around to see the sun “change” in the past."

According to this insider "daniel" to secret govt projects, the sun is getting bigger, brighter, and hotter. Not trying to cause a panic with this, take it as you will. He also says the forces involved are anti gravitational during the shift, which he says is quantum steps and not smooth transition, and will push the planets outwards to new orbits. Its possible according to the insider that the same thing could happen to the planet in an expansion type event... think about the ancient maps that showed Antarctica closer to S America and Africa.. the planet was smaller and has expanded. Elementary students are quick to point out that the continents look like puzzle pieces that should fit together. New orbit = longer year; Bigger planet = longer days = end of 'time' (clock time) as we know it, just as the Mayans predicted. This also explains how the people written about from antiquity lived hundreds of years as they were making faster passes around a larger sun. Also gives an explanation to the idea of us being in the 5th sun moving into the 6th. Daniel explains in detail the science behind all this and a whole WHOLE lot more in a series of papers. There's a forum HERE and the papers can be found HERE The title of the paper I'm referencing is "Geoengineering, Chemtrails, HAARP, World Orders, Time Lines and Ascension"

Definitely worth checking out!
Peace

Based on this important information it is pretty conclusive the sun will explode in 2013.

Might be good to make a fresh start anyway

If something is going on with our sun then guess what????

Aint a damn thing you or I or anyone else can do about it anyway.
Bend over, grab your ankles, and kiss your ass goodbye.

I honestly coudn't care less if the F ing sun blows up tomorrow.
I am living TODAY!!!!

and F the sun.

The government knows whats going to happen that`s why they have been building under ground bunkers for years, the elite will survive just fine in those bunkers but the rest of us are screwed.

Ah but the elite will cook like rats in a pressure cooker, with the sun going wild up top and the core of earth heating up below.....
When the elevators fail, itll be a pretty sad way to go, buried alive....
A least we will fry quickly........

this is not "new"

there are NO space weather alerts and everything is normal....
www.solarham.net...

We still dont understand the cycles of the sun. There have been periods of reduced solar activity where the solar minimum lasted longer than 10 years.

We *MIGHT be heading into a long period of solar inactivity, which will lead to a freeze, not a spike in activity.

April 1, 2009: The sunspot cycle is behaving a little like the stock market. Just when you think it has hit bottom, it goes even lower.
2008 was a bear. There were no sunspots observed on 266 of the year's 366 days (73%). To find a year with more blank suns, you have to go all the way back to 1913, which had 311 spotless days: plot. Prompted by these numbers, some observers suggested that the solar cycle had hit bottom in 2008.

science.nasa.gov...

Sunspots may be going into hibernation, a phenomenon unseen since the 17th century that could lead to cooler global temperatures, scientists said Tuesday. It’s not clear how rising temperatures from greenhouse gas emissions may offset global cooling, and scientists are still not totally sure how our star affects Earth’s climate, however. But a forthcoming period of solar quiet will help settle the questions.

and, some historic examples of long solar minimums.

Homeric minimum 950BC -800BC
Oort minimum (see Medieval Warm Period) 1040 -1080
Medieval maximum (see Medieval Warm Period) 1100-1250
Wolf minimum 1280-1350
Spörer Minimum 1450-1550
Maunder Minimum 1645-1715
Dalton Minimum 1790-1820

How.long have been able to accurately measure its features?

The solar cycles, as we predicted them are nothing more than an educated guess on short term observations. We have no idea what it was doing 5000 years ago, 1 million years ago or 1 billion years ago.

All you are doing to yourselves is creating worry over nothing. If there was something wrong with the sun I can assure you there would be no way to hide it.

I'd rather have a quiet sun than a spotty sun..

Geez all the doomers......the sun is either too active and about to kill us all with giant coronal hole triangles or its too quiet and going to pop and kill us all. Seriously think about that.....

Thank you for saving me from typing the same thing. Bravo good sir

Just one more thing to add, an educated guess is still a guess. Is it fair to say our solar system is moving with and through our.galaxy through unknown interstellar space with unknown or understood forces and matter?

I know its our nature to try and put a formula to everything just so we can have some comfort in knowing how things work, while noble in its effort, we really know very little with what's going on.

Peace

The image above shows the Earth-facing surface of the Sun on February 28, 2013, as observed by the Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) on NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory

It observed just a few small sunspots on an otherwise clean face, which is usually riddled with many spots during peak solar activity

The artical seems to be talking about the Earth Facing Side. The back side has been quite active. This was 4 days ago.

This was a huge blast, if, I said if phage, it was earth facing it could, I said could phage, have been a kill shot.

but it IS measurable.

Everything the sun spews out into space has a measurable impact on earth. If you take a shovel, the deeper you go is the farther back in time you can measure the activity of sun and its impact on the environment. Like with any study of sedimentary layers, one of the factors looked to is solar activity.

If you know what to look for and have the tools, you use science to take out all the guess work and use facts to PROVE what happened.

Also mankind has been observing sun spots for hundreds of years now.

Nothing new has come up with this story, I'm starting to wonder about the dailymail as a source, they aren't always fishy, but since it's only dailymail and beforeitsnews reporting this, I'm not sure whats really going on.

Nothing unexpected is happening to the sun.

This demonstrates perfectly how stupid some humans are in thinking that they can 'predict' anything.

Just because humans can make a half decent stab at predicting some weather patterns occasionally they get these ideas that are frankly above their stations. Know your place humans

Why would any human think they can determine what is going to happen or not happen on the Sun in the future?

You don't even now when the next catastrophic earthquake is going to happen on our own planet yet they think they can predict how the Sun will behave in the future.

Stop believing scientists. Stop believing religion. Start believing in yourself. You have all the answers. You just have to unlock them.

They base their theory about the sun off of their study of the surrounding stars. They study how they behave, and use their best guess to determine if our sun will do the same. Most stars are predictable after they set into a rhythm. But I agree, it's hard to predict the unpredictable.

Stars are born. They take shape. They go through a turbulent adolescence, and then they live out their lives in a predictable pattern. Some have companions to provide for. Others rapidly decline and die. In some ways, stars are just like people.

The Daily Mail has both good and bad articles. It just means that they are often inclined to a bit of sensationalism when it suits. Some scientists have already concluded that after this solar cycle is over the Sun will be in a prolonged minimum, and that Sunspots will be a rare event for some time.

I think NASA is full of it, i can walk out side on a so called 33 degree celcius day and stand in the sun for 5 minutes and i can feel the UV rays burning my skin, it annoys me that even in AUS the weather authorities are lieing to us, if you stand in the shade its 33 degrees but in the sun its more like 50! so no, we are not where they say we are with the solar peaks, we are probebly at maximum as we speak.

Lots of solar activity = NIBIRU/ELENIN/ALIENS/SUPERFLARE/NASA Y U LIE

Little solar activity = NIBIRU/ELENIN/ALIENS/SUPERFLARE/NASA Y U LIE

Nothing will ever sate the crazies.

I'm surprised that no one has even mentioned our alien friends fueling up taking the suns energy might have caused it to be less active. Thus saving earth from a world-wide black out and the ufo's getting free energy saving two birds with one stone lol

Okay, I went and captured them and resized for posting. I hope it helps for seeing the data.

It's quiet out there........too quiet?

Go to the SDO website.

Coronal flares are everywhere. A few weeks ago on the Discovery Channel said

Coronal Flares = Calm Space Weather

When the coronal flares disappear then the CMEs shoot out.

BTW, there is only a 5% chance the Earth would get hit by a CME.

OR there is a 95% chance we will NOT get hit.

Yes, that's it.

Our sun is less active because it is drunk on 4D Helium.

Our sun is being transformed into a Blue White Star. Right now it is a Yellow Dwarf.
