Hey everyone!
Tyler Knight here again with a new song to share with you
I recently started reading up on the Mars One project, in which this company plans to send the first humans to Mars to colonize and create a reality
TV show out of it! I was completely sucked in with the idea and how awesome this is that people still have the drive to go to the cosmos. I had a
phrase pop into my head which was "A one way ticket to mars' and I thought about how cool of a song that would be based around that idea! So here it
is so far! I have included the lyrics below the link so you can read along. Note: The recording is only up to the first chorus and haven't recorded
the other two verses or 2nd chorus yet! Let me know what you think
I want to make the song much longer and am looking for new ideas to add to it. Let me know your thoughts and feelings on what it would be like to go
on a one way journey to mars or any other planet. Keep in mind that you might not make it there, you might get there and go crazy, lots of emotions
etc.

Ticket To Mars - Tyler Knight
If I handed you, a one-way ticket to mars
would you throw it all away, just to spend your life with the stars
No guarantees or promises, just open minds and honesty
If I handed you, a one-way ticket to mars
Your view of the world, tell me would it change
from outside the planet, looking back at what remains
A pale blue dot, significant not, an ocean of black, we're just a spot
Your view of the world, tell me would it change
You said it was nothing, I said you were wrong
You thought I was dreaming or already gone
Your worlds flew right by me, they drifted on past
Remember you knew me I doubt I'll be back
The rockets ignite, as we blast into space
we're one of a few but the first ones of our race
like many before we've stepped out the door we looked up above and left who we love
The rockets ignite, as we blast into space
As you look out the window you stare into nothing and all
the journey ahead is daunting, feels meaningless and small
the reason, our future the drive is our past, without us the rest of our species won't last
as you look out the window you stare into nothing and all
You said it was nothing, I said you were wrong
You thought I was dreaming or already gone
Your worlds flew right past me, they drifted on past
Remember you knew me I doubt I'll be back
