that should come as no surprise, of course. Some of it was legend, oral tradition, etc., and we don't really know for sure.
Exactly my point.
I think it's important to us, as a species, and stewards of the planet and our children, to dissect it and determine what is legend, what is oral tradition, and what is fiction.
We don't really know for sure.....
thanks for chiming in.

the ISRAELITES better known to you in the shortened down version as ELITES are taking the pee out of everyone as god is the planet Saturn.
Actually, I need to retract that statement and apologize -- you didn't say it

And your evidence for this is???
Go to this post for my evidence
24 ancient civilizations that pre-date the Roman empire (who are the ones who named the planet Saturn) keeping the 7th day, the rest day, before people even discovered Saturn shows your whole argument line a waste.
get back on topic

Oh, and, I'm not worried.edit on 5-3-2013 by wildtimes because: (no reason given)
well common sense would be a starting point
Egypt was clearly based on astrology and so was Greece
how is educating people what the religion is really based on off topic on a topic about myths about the christian religion
mine is based on fighting these elites and bloodlines and them showing me stuff that if you haven't got a reference point you wont believe
see what your intuition tells you
If you "keep the Sabbath," then you are carrying on the ancient worship of this pagan god.
the egyptians who drove them out of egypt because they were warmongering all the time
How about dealing with my evidence which already trumps and predates your own before telling me what to search next.
Aren't modern day Christians persecuted in parts of Africa and in the Middle East

You mean like the ones who are telling people to burn their children alive because the kids are "witches" or "possessed"?
In Nigeria, the militant Islamic Boko Haram movement has launched a religious cleansing campaign against Christians in the country’s north. It would be somewhat comforting to regard the atrocities there, which include machete-wielding fanatics attacking pregnant Christian women and young girls, as an isolated case.
Alas, that option is not available to anyone whose eyes are open. Today, Christians are by far the most persecuted religious group on the planet. As a result, defense of persecuted Christians is destined to be the defining religious freedom struggle -- indeed, a defining human rights struggle -- of the early 21st century. (Source)
EKET, Nigeria — The nine-year-old boy lay on a bloodstained hospital sheet crawling with ants, staring blindly at the wall.
His family pastor had accused him of being a witch, and his father then tried to force acid down his throat as an exorcism. It spilled as he struggled, burning away his face and eyes. The emaciated boy barely had strength left to whisper the name of the church that had denounced him – Mount Zion Lighthouse.
A month later, he died.
Nwanaokwo Edet was one of an increasing number of children in Africa accused of witchcraft by pastors and then tortured or killed, often by family members. Pastors were involved in half of 200 cases of "witch children" reviewed by the AP, and 13 churches were named in the case files.
Some of the churches involved are renegade local branches of international franchises. Their parishioners take literally the Biblical exhortation, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
"It is an outrage what they are allowing to take place in the name of Christianity," said Gary Foxcroft, head of nonprofit Stepping Stones Nigeria.
