This song touches on so many levels as I am happy and sad and angry . Makes me feel alive . Makes me also want to drive with the pedal down

Sadly I know many will not make it past the 15 second mark but if you can hold out till the 2 min mark you will hear another amazing dynamic of the song / band

I have had quite a few drinks right now I will not lie, so my judgement is a slightly inhibited. I feel this song epitomizes the spirit of ATS as a whole. I am sure most people have not heard of this band, and if they have many don't even consider the music for it's underlying religious nature. This band was originally Creed and they decided to drop their singer because his heavily Christian views inhibited their ability to fully express themselves.

In any case, I definitely urge all those participating in this thread to at least give the song the benefit of the doubt. Also, even if you don't enjoy the sound of the music, I think you should at least hear it out to and absorb the message of the song. Oh, and if you do enjoy the music, I recommend that you look up the band and listen to more of their music. Specifically the "Blackbird" album.

Once again, really listen to the lyrics and absorb them as best as possible.
