Russian UFO?

Not sure if this is hoax or not but saw this very short video on YouTube. Looks like some Russian blog site uploaded the video to Youtube.

American drone?

Russian hoax? I could play this game all day.

I've seen a lot like this and unfortunatley it's most likely a meteor falling. The funny arc seems strange however it's a common misconception that this "UFO" made a turn. What your witnessing is just an illusion brought on by the circular atmosphere. The meteor is not falling at the angle you think that it is prior to the "turning". the direction change is brought about by the "fisheye" effect of the atmosphere. In reality, it never changed directions..

Yes, but if we don't know for sure what it is, we can safely say...UFO.

It's unidentified? check.

It's flying? check.

It's an object? Possibly...check.

So don't care if it's a drone, Superman, The Phoenix, RG3, a rocket, CGI or whatever, it's still unidentified in my book and by George, it appears to be flying.

Looks much the same as all the other infra red imagers at night that show birds, bats etc...

But here's the thing. When something is labeled a ufo, it instantly receives connotation with being something extraterrestrial.

So you could do the checklist and you'd be correct technically. But I really hesitate and wait and examine before I slap on the label of ufo.

Or you could google atmosphere AND fisheye effect. Or you could just dismiss reality and fact completely like you are right now. Up to you...

This is a really good video of the same effect but from a different angle. Keep in mind these are confirmed meteors with multiple witnesses. Watch how they appear to slightly change direction and float away at a low speed when in fact they are zooming through the atmosphere.
