It took it twice one day apart and I got two different results, so go figure. I guess I'm just not that sure about some of the things I answered the day before. I do wander and day dream abit and get lost in stores and books and stuff like that. lol!!!

I suspect the prevalence of introverts here is, as others have pointed out, natural and to be expected in an online community. Especially one dedicated primarily to "fringe" subject matter.

One of the greatest misnomers on society's part is the assumption that introverts don't crave or need socialization as much as extroverts do. That's simply not true. It may be more overwhelming for us and something we want less of, but we still need it. Online communities facilitate that without the stressors of face to face communication or large groups.

6. Any psychic experiences? - many, many stories of precognition from my parents about when I was a child. As an adult I have feelings and dream premonitions but not many lucid visions anymore.

7. Any paranormal experiences? - Lots. Several visits from dead relatives saying goodbye shortly after their deaths and occasional "shadow people."

As I've gotten older I would probably say I'm agnostic just because, from a science standpoint, anything is possible and I can't say that I know nothing exists. Although with all the new research in physics I'm beginning to think that animism might have some merit.

I feel the same way. "That is so me!" everyone says when they read their personality traits on every single personality/astrology quiz ever. It's like a one-size-fits-all slipper.

Personality is simply too complex to be put in a finite number of boxes. I can see part of myself in nearly every situation the questions ask me to judge as most accurate.

That is why I think unless you have a truly serious condition or injury Psychiatry is not very accurate or helpful. I think therapy is great however and I think everyone gets depressed. The problem I see is so many different terms and labels which I think stems a lot from the drug companies pushing something for silly general depressions and calling them cures for Melancholy, Indifference, Blandness or the Meh'ssss! LOL

So yeah your mood, times of day all kinds of things I think can have an affect on answering a questionnaire about your personality.

Lucid Dreaming: I lucid dream from time to time but only when I am not trying.

Psychic experiences:Sometimes I know what the outcome of a situation will be but they are always unimportant situations. (For example:Sometimes I think of someone and then a moment later that someone will ring me, but this happens very rarely and I only seem to sense it when i don't want people to ring me.)

Any paranormal experiences: Not that I can remember,but my Mother once said that I started screaming when i was about 2-3 that there was a man in my room.I can't vouch for this though.

Religious Affiliation/beliefs: I believe that something intelligent created the universe but I am not religous. My reasoning behind this is that if the universe created itself (i use this term as meaning no god or creator or ruler) then it would probably be a lot more simple. I think that having no universe is more simple than having one therefore a creator must have been involved to make the decision to have a universe.(These are my opinions and i dont use the word "must" meaning it is confirmed. I use it meaning that is what I believe happens if you catch my drift).

I'm smyleegrl. I started a thread that surprised me...The Waiting Game. I thought it would get a few responses and die the typical ATS quick death.

It didnt, though. Instead, it got a huge response. And that made me curious. Why were so many agreeing to feeling something similar?

So I wanted to look for common traits among the responders. Hence the questions. I tried to keep them fairly innocuous, but if it worries you then simply don't respond.

Oh, but if you do reply....remember to leave the security code on the back of your credit card.

You know, I've been thinking about the results...

And I've concluded - ATS is an open think tank. We are likely a marocosmic view of the hidden think tanks found in governments.
