Wow I never realized so many people liked pale ales... I tend to stick to lagers like Yuengling, but these days I'm really getting into Belgian whites - ever since my friend bought us a case of Blue Moon a while back. Right now I'm enjoying a case of Shock Top. I also really like drinking molson and labatt's. Not really into the hoppy stuff like Stone IPA (Gargoyle). One of my friends had some of that a while ago too, and I found myself chugging it to heavy metal... fun stuff lol. I can't stand drinking stuff like Black and Tan's, makes me want to puke just thinking about it.

I don't drink coffee at all, that probably has a lot to do with people's tastes in beer.... I don't smoke anymore either. If you think about it coffee and cigarettes taste like crap.

Wow this thread exploded, I did not expect so many reply's.
I think theirs enough here to try a new beer every week for the rest of the year.
Brewing truly is a art. Beer is to my tong as music is to my ear's.
I never liked tasteless music.

Thanks every body, cheers to new beers.

I once thought that, I only drank it to get drunk.
With the wide verity of beers that exist I think their is at least one you would like.

I've been around the world and drank a lot of beers, but the best by far is Shiner Bock. It's a Texas beer that you can get in a lot of other states.

What's with so many people being fixated with PBR? It's just awful, I rank it with Natty and Keyster.

The honeycrisp is really good stuff, but if you're not into the apple flavoring like say.. hard ciders or stuff such as woodchuck, or hardcore apple (whatever it's called) I don't think I would recommend it - it kinda has an aftertaste of apples. I personally like it a lot... probably too much, it did give me some heartburn haha.

The whole PBR thing is more of a joke than anything else -- it's like a "punk beer", you know like.. if you're a HARDCORE PUNK you drink PBR! In other words, its a really cheap beer that doesn't make you puke instantly like nasty ice or milwaukee's beast.... a so-called "college" beer... it's kinda like how all the cool kids drink high life at frat party's because it's the CHAMPAGNE OF BEERS YO! Ok.. so maybe I wasn't that cool afterall

Best beer ever tasted?

How about "best hammer ever used to smash my testicles?".

I sometimes joke about the person whom invented beer. A Sumerian I think. Did this person take the first sip and immediately utter "Wow! this is delicious!!!!"? Bearing in mind ancient Sumer did not have fridges.

My theory is that this person, after weeks of effort, drank it out of spite. After drinking a little and refusing to admit to his peers that it tasted like sh!!te', said creator started feeling pretty good. He then punched the living crap out of anyone claiming his nectar of the gods tasted like poo and became an instant hit with the ladies.

The rest is history.

Disagree? Sure. So you really do like the taste of beer. What's your favourite non alcoholic beer?
