Unknown Material (Chat Issue)

Our reporter just radioed in that the cylinder started making a hissing noise. It began immediately after someone attempted to get a sample of the material it was built from.

All units are pulling back for now. She's being taken back to the command center

She's almost to the command post and heard gunfire from the direction of the cylinder. Her escort is still taking her away.

Several personnel are rushing past her to the scene

This is all so strange... I can't get ANY information from these areas of New Jersey.

WTF?

How can they keep this story under control?

The sirens just went off in the neighborhood and the police are coming around! I saw one of the neighbor's kids who's in the National Guard drive by. He's in uniform and in a jeep. I tried to wave him down but he shouted for me to get back inside.

The kids are scared... real scared! So am I!

I wish my husband would call or come home!!!!

Calm down. Everyone hopefully will be kept contained and udner control

Stay indoors and dont panic. Keep rational for your kids. Even though your husband is not there, you will have plenty of support here. Stay calm and you will be OK.

Nasa now thinks this could be an unusual trail left by an aircraft which has reflected the setting sun. Yeah... and I just fell off the turnip truck.

I don't think scientists would be baffled by this pic if it were of an aircraft reflecting the setting sun IMO.

Another report...

She has been removed from the area as a number of armed helicopters passed her overhead toward the area where the crashed cylinder is.

She's heard people shouting over the military radio things like:
"There are three of them"
"All black"
"Aim high"
"Cylinder empty"

Then she reported her secure radio is to be returned to DHS immediately.

We're waiting for her to get back.

I think we may be in trouble. Now we got three unidentified things being shot at. Looks like ET is paying a little visit. I wonder what happens next...

I want to know what these cylinders are all about. This is starting to sound pretty serious to me. If this is not a halloween prank than we deserve some answers. I doubt the gov is going to be able to keep a lid on this one. BIZZARE

You would think that an entire state would be able to get some news out. Has there been any updates or any more news?

Too good to be true? I hope not... The news updates remind me of something you'd see in a Science fiction movie... I have my doubts, but either way, it had me going for awhile there... I'll just have to wait and see whats up...

Yes, I am aware of that. The fact that something big was caught on film that baffles scientists world wide and nasa says is an aircraft reflecting sunlight is odd. Perhaps NJ's unfolding drama and the object in that pic from the UK may be related in some way.

Yes, but I still prefer the original H. G. Wells story, but the adaptation by Orson Wells was very well done, so they could use only the first part of the story.



What I would like to know is why so many people started putting an extra "." in the end of their posts, but not on all posts.
