Why would the CDC have this on their official website? Very Odd.

I wonder if its just to help get the people prepped for any kind of event. Furthermore by getting the public to prep it does help FEMA do its job easier.

this has been on their site for a while. they state, in the first paragraph, why they use a Zombie apocolypse as their means of getting their message across.


"If you are generally well equipped to deal with a zombie apocalypse you will be prepared for a hurricane, pandemic, earthquake, or terrorist attack." So please log on, get a kit, make a plan, and be prepared

And everything they say is completely suspect because they omit the single most important category- personal defense. We all know why, they want a cowed, dependent class in any catastrophe.

the center for disease control is not about defense from anything, other than disease. This primer is a means of educating the people, in a manner that they might enjoy and might not freak them out (try offering a primer on protecting yourself from plague and see how the public reacts).
