This is probably a hoax. Also, the type of video I hate posting.

ADD: After posting a thread was pointed out. This video is slightly different (worth watching).

I don't know what the real thing should look like.

Also, it's from Russia. So I can't answer any questions.

So please be gentle. I searched but the Russian messed me up.

So if this was posted....Sorry, I couldn't find it.

I just don't want something great to be missed because CGI exists.

No problem. Existing thread here:
Russian Meteor shot down by UFO's?

There is already a fairly full discussion of the video in that thread, so it may be better to add to the existing discussion rather than start again.

Early reports from Russia suggested that they fired missiles at the Meteorite but I think these were later dismissed. That is a possibility but I doubt any missile could catch the meteorite up at that speed (44000mph) They would have to intercept and that would be equally as difficult.

The other possibility is that we are just seeing fragments of the rock breaking up. Maybe a smaller chunk was following in the main meteors slipstream allowing it to maintain it's speed while the larger rock slowed down due to the air resistance. This could have the same effect as one car following another that suddenly brakes causing the one following to slam into the back?

I believe its footage of the recent meteorite strike in Russia the other day.
There are several videos of the strike making its rounds around the net.

Thread does already exist...

However, this is a little different video.

Discussion found here

Object seems to appear in the tail.

Then it seems to punch through the meteor.

Very strange indeed.

Yes from those views seems it was an object in the tail and other objects in front seemed to disassembled / separate. Wonders if there was any Baltic sea activity seen in the deep there or elsewhere under sea. Thanks for the update if not cgi related whyamIhere

Actually I watched this video in relation to the "meteor" explosion over Russia. Someone claimed it was a light ship, and the negs destroyed it. Now, my very psi friend The Magicians Apprentice, he said out of the blue with insight, that the asteroid was Divine or divinely guided/sent. But that this over Russia was an attack by the negatives, and it was destroyed. He didn't see this either when he said that. But I think that is what this shows.
Because I don't trust who is good and bad, just know that Higher Ups wouldn't be of the same frequency of those who could harm.

But this looked like a skirmish/battle.

My friend said, that they downplayed in the news, saying over a village, well that village has 1.5 million people and is in reality a large city, in fact Vancouver has 2 I believe in all its outlying areas. So yes, that would be a large city. Whatever happened just there, may have saved a city.

This is where the whole 'did a UFO shoot down the meteor' idea stems from.
I don't think it's fake at all. It's too unsymmetrical and sloppy to be generated by artificial means.

I am glad you saw this video...

Looks like Earth isn't our rock after all.

If that rock stayed together the crater would of been massive.

If that hole in Arizona was caused by a rock the size of a refrigerator.

What kind of damage would of been done had it not come apart?

If indeed this meteor was shot down, then we need to question if the less heralded meteor over Cuba was shot down also.

I haven't seen anyone tie this to that yet.

How big was it?

I thought the sign said "It was the size of a refrigerator".

That was back in the 80's...

I guess you can't believe everything you read.

What is you take on the video...Lens Flare?

About the size of 2012 DA14

Yes. More specifically, reflections of crud on the windshield.

I am still unclear on the size...

But if it hit you...It's going to leave a mark.

Its simply refracted light from a dirty and scratched windshield... if you look you can see similar objects appearing vertically around the central Y axis going through the meteor, thing is these vertical refractions dont move because at the scale the meteor is in the vid it moves so very little vertically during that time, but moves a hell of a lot horizontally in comparison.

Unfortunately the flare becomes far to large and bright a short while latter to see the vertical placed refractions move as radically as the horizontal ones as the meteor starts to get more pronounced vertical movement.

Hope that makes sense.

Not to mention the driver at that moment is in the process of making a right hand turn which adjusts the meteors position within the view and also on the windshield causing the light to shift over the imperfections in the glass quite quickly.

Thats my opinion, and someone else in the other thread most likely has said something similar. Having watched sources of light during the day and night move over scratched windshields on long car journeys for 30 years I can say thats pretty much what i see going on here as well.

Opps Phage already brought it up.
