Official (unofficial) meteor sighting thread with possible relation to DA14

Just wanted to put all the info on meteor activity for the next few days in the same bin.

The proximity of additional debris to DA14 is possible.

Since the Russian meteor/meteorite there have been numerous reports of other fireball sightings from around the world.

Please post your findings here just to keep track of them and their possible relation to DA14.

I've heard reports from Utah and Cuba.
I'll put links up as soon as possible.

How close is this Meteor coming?

Wonder why it`s over the Italian news (even though in very brief form) www.ansa.it... among others, and not on BBC/CNN, etc...

Every online *news* agency, I say that lightly, will be grabbing at every *rumor* to push their viewing numbers. As people snatch up their links and post them in places, like here, more numbers. The best they can hope for, is going viral with people from blogs, and farcebook.

It will take multiple sources, not all coming from the original link, to make it a *real* news story.

I'm open minded...but, logic rules in my mental house....

NASA has a live stream of DA-14 going. And from what I Know the meteorite in Russia had nothing to do with DA-14.

That's what we're being told however reports of other observed fireballs and meteors peaking and accumulating around it's close pass seem too coincidental.

Maybe DA14 has some smaller bodies orbiting it or in tow.

This is all I'm trying to establish and/or document.

Anyone in the uk see this?. Im scanning the skies now with my binoculars. Can see jupiter etc but no sign of a da14. Chances are its nowhere near anyway!
