Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell has been charged with a string of sex offences, including raping a child. Greater Manchester Police said he is also accused of indecently assaulting a child and sexual activity with a child. The actor, 48, who plays Kevin Webster in the ITV1 soap, faces a total of 19 charges relating to crimes allegedly committed between 2001 and 2010. Mr Le Vell, whose real name is Michael Turner, is due before magistrates in Manchester on 27 February.

Yeah 19 counts doesn't look good, If found guilty he will go away for a very long time....and rightly so.

Well thats good to know, if I want someone to die in the mud, I'll make up more than 15 charges against them, and then people will go "Yeah, but more than 15? He has to be guilty." and I'll have done my evil deed.

He was first arrested in September 2011 and questioned over alleged child sex offences, but the matter was later dropped.

It is believed a relative of an alleged victim demanded the CPS review their original decision not to prosecute the actor, 48. The star was released on police bail and is due to appear in court on February 27. Well we can only go on what he was charged with and respect the courts decision. Mud sticks though unfortunately and he will have this hanging over him for a long time.....
Perhaps because he was innocent?

He was charged before with similar things but let off for some reason.
