Pretty sure the test was done underground, hence the earthquakes.
So nothing in the atmosphere to drift towards us.

Provide a source that proves that no radiation escaped into the atmosphere or troll else where.
Underground testing is much safer than above-ground testing. "With underground testing, you can contain the radiation," said Annika Thunborg, CTBTO spokesperson.
Still, nuclear particles can be accidentally released into the atmosphere. North Korea's first nuclear test in 2006 leaked radiation into the air which was picked up at a CTBTO monitoring station in Yellowknife, Canada -- more than 4,500 miles away.

Japan is sending their aircraft to check on airborne radiation, and can be read here:

Coupled with the Japan Nuke reactor meltdown (debris floating off of the U.S. Western coast), any addition would be detrimental.

Nothing gets me more than members who make a thread and then accuse anybody that disagrees as 'trolls' how was xedocodex's response trolling in any way? Do you know what trolling actually is? Because it's not that. I agree with him too. The test will have been done deep underground but of course there will be concern from neighbouring (sic) countries and they will want to check just to make sure. However, it is very unlikely that N. Korea would be as stupid to irradiate their own country.

Oh you are sooo correct. NK would never disparage their own people, why look at all of their prosperity and freedoms (sarcasm)
Pyongyang major street. www.fleetstreetfox.com...
Blissful children
Well managed municipalities.
No harm seen in their childcare.
www.humnews.com...
They would never consider abusing women.
They love their people sooo much that everyone has a job.
So, noooooooo, NK would never cause ANY harm to their country or people.
You are just so right, that I almost regret spending the time in replying to your post.
However,
nothing gets me more than members who are mildly illiterate.
