N.K.’s detonation of an atomic bomb is sending the particulate directly at the USA.
Here are the satellite photos and links. When watched in movie mode, it’s easy to see that the developing pattern will strike the CONUS soon.

The low pressure system just North East of the Hawaiian Islands may play a factor on the impact as well.

Pretty sure the test was done underground, hence the earthquakes.

So nothing in the atmosphere to drift towards us.

"Could" not did.

But that being said, I read from a source, Japan and the US have dispatched aircraft to test for particals in the air.

Provide a source that proves that no radiation escaped into the atmosphere or troll else where.
Japan is sending their aircraft to check on airborne radiation, and can be read here:

I think the burden of proof is on you here buddy, nobody detonated a nuclear device in the open air.

Not arguing about whether what whoever did was right, just saying, these people know what they're doing and if they wanted WW3 they would've tested it on U.S soil

There is this:

Underground testing is much safer than above-ground testing. "With underground testing, you can contain the radiation," said Annika Thunborg, CTBTO spokesperson.

But, then there is this:

Still, nuclear particles can be accidentally released into the atmosphere. North Korea's first nuclear test in 2006 leaked radiation into the air which was picked up at a CTBTO monitoring station in Yellowknife, Canada -- more than 4,500 miles away.

www.cnn.com...

Nevertheless, if any radioactive particles did escape and they made their way to the US, the trace amounts would be negligible. I'd be more concerned for the groundwater contamination that will no doubt affect the innocent North Korean civilian population.

I love it when people throw the troll word around! a troll is somebody provoking a reaction he merely stated the facts, the DPRK always conducts its tests underground their is no radiation risk to worry about.

This is hillarious... N.K detonated a Nuclear device under N.K...... If the radiation did not leak into the air all I can say is don't drink the water! Or eat any food in N.K you may develop acute mutations to the body.

Imagine the ammount of radiation that will leak through the islands over the next few years.....

Nothing gets me more than members who make a thread and then accuse anybody that disagrees as 'trolls' how was xedocodex's response trolling in any way? Do you know what trolling actually is? Because it's not that. I agree with him too. The test will have been done deep underground but of course there will be concern from neighbouring countries and they will want to check just to make sure. However, it is very unlikely that N. Korea would be as stupid to irradiate their own country.

The U.S. has carried out 1,030 nuclear weapons tests the last and final test on 23 September 1993. Most of which were detonated on US soil. so whats the problem? do you think the NK test is gona make much difference?

Really?
Are you seriously trying to troll me?
How do you propose I would be able to do such an incredible thing?
Here is an article that states that the 2006 nuke test displayed radiation in the air, but the 2009 did not.
South Korea confirmed increased radiation levels following the North's 2006 nuclear test but didn't find anything in 2009.

Coupled with the Japan Nuke reactor meltdown (debris floating off of the U.S. Western coast), any addition would be detrimental.

Not realy, fallout would be minimal and localised as the bomb was detonated 0.6 of a mile underground, underneath a mountain. Coupled with the fact that it was a very small device, 7 kiloton max.

Oh you are sooo correct. NK would never disparage their own people, why look at all of their prosperity and freedoms (sarcasm)

So, noooooooo, NK would never cause ANY harm to their country or people.

You are just so right, that I almost regret spending the time in replying to your post.
However,
nothing gets me more than members who are mildly illiterate.

Ok. Firstly let's get past the 'mildly illiterate' part. I use British English, so a 'u' in 'neighbouring' is actually correct and came before the Amercanised version. Yes, that's Americanised with an 'S' not a 'Z'. So you can stick your 'sic' in your back pocket. I think you will find my English is rather splendid in comparison to your juvenile style which includes repeated 'ooooo's in 'so' and 'no'. These are not correct spellings.

Next... I never said anything about the N. Korean people, I referred to the country. As in, why would N. Korea irradiate the land which believe it or not, even the leaders have to survive on? They are hardly going to wipe out the whole population including themselves are they? I think anyone with eyes and ears know's the appalling civilian conditions of The North.

Anyway, congratulations on a good attempt at shooting me down but unfortunately for you, I'm just that slight bit ahead. Keep trying

It would have been interesting if (the UN) had monitored all the nuclear tests from the US, UK and Russia. It would be even more interesting if the American, Russian and Australians public had access to a good enough history education to know and remember it properly...
