FOX News Talking Out Of Their You-Know-What On Solar Energy

I was doing some more reading this evening, and ran across this very interesting article:

Renewable energy now cheaper than new fossil fuels in Australia

Sydney, 7 February 2013 – Unsubsidised renewable energy is now cheaper than electricity from new-build coal- and gas-fired power stations in Australia, according to new analysis from research firm Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

“The perception that fossil fuels are cheap and renewables are expensive is now out of date”, said Michael Liebreich, chief executive of Bloomberg New Energy Finance. “The fact that wind power is now cheaper than coal and gas in a country with some of the world’s best fossil fuel resources shows that clean energy is a game changer which promises to turn the economics of power systems on its head,” he said.

How 'bout that? While the FOX factory of propaganda is swearing to their insulated viewers that renewable energy is totally impossible without massive government subsidies and economic suicide, yet another real world example is marching right along proving them completely wrong full of it.

I suspect, as these kind of precedents get set more and more often in the near future, FOX will just ramp up the rhetoric and propaganda against them in step, and thus so will their drone army.

If only they would turn down the hyperbolic volume on their remotes for a second - they might hear that distinct other sound: the death-knell of the fossil fuel oligarchy.

Fox News is not a political entity. It is a fake news channel masquerading as "fair and balanced". It is fair game in my eyes.

Oh yes! The White House said the exact same thing back in 2009 in order to marginalize
Fox News.

Bad News: it blew up in their faces. All of the other news networks stood with Fox News.
It's all of us or none of us. The White House folded and accepted Fox News.

We say "yes" to solar. It's just not practical.
The solar panels give us power during the day. We require a 24 hour solution.

We will always remember the Solyndra Scandal.
It was doomed to fail and guess what?
It failed and they laid off 1,000 workers after only 1 year.

Honestly - I hope for his sake he gets paid to post here or something, because it's quite sad.

He's absolutely littered this thread and the other FOX one with a barrage of desperate comments trying to deflect and derail anything anyone says. He seems to think he's doing a bang up job defending FOX or something, but really he's doing me a huge favor - because he's showing everyone exactly what I'm talking about: a real life, inside look into one of these -
