Dear Pres. Bush,

Do you care about bin Ladin now? What happened to your promises? Why are we still being threatened by Osama Bin Laden? I thought you said we were safer. Why did you not get Bin laden dead or alive as you promised. You have failed America again Pres. Bush . Please resign and let someone run the country who will really protect the American people.

Signed,

100,000 dead Iraqi's, 1,000 G.I.'s, and 3,000 people from 9-11

"At least you know what you're getting with me."
George W. Bush, every speech for the last 6 months.

Well said that's for sure, and nothing but the truth here.

"Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda," (bin laden)

Doesn't this statement in some way exonerate the Bush administrations mistakes?

Hopefully the CIA Bin laden is refering to the past and not the future.

Hey dont forget all the people kidnapped and murdered by beheading....or ones missing and not yet determaned to be dead, he has killed way to many people cause of his actions. I would like him tobe held hostage to see what would happen....... first the war focus would change for him personally, second the military would tear up the country while looking for his, third the no negotiation policy would end real quick. the terrorists would get what they wanted no questions asked.......sick man just sick

Can you speak for yourself, and not use the memory of those who died ifighting in Iraq or on 9/11 that may have liked Bush? I do not care about citizen casualties in IRAQ. Does that make me a bad person, no. However, I know it is not happeneing in my backyard so I have no problems with my milatary. THat is why i am proud to live in America.

hahaha you libs crack me up!

1st of all: Bush graduated with many degrees from Yale. So, yeah, hes actually smarter than most people on this board. He just doesn't articulate himself well, that's all.

2nd of all:

Dear Mr. Kerry,

Where do you stand on all the issues? You agree and then disagree. I would like to vote for you, but you want to talk to the terrorists? That will not help, I'm afraid my friend. Where do you stand on, uhm, everything? You agree with only what the polls, say, sir. Do not do this. We don't need a flip-floppin' pancake as our president. Bush knows how to fight, not talk, sir. Please do not talk to osama, when you see him. Please do not talk to Kim when you see him, sir.

Regards,

-wD

Probably not to the scale , as his congressional hearing said. He is a coward that signed his country into guilt then walked away from the war.

He has to be smart to be able to do what he has done and not gotten people so insensed to impeach him or end up in prision. But that is no reason to be proud of him. And I have 4 degrees and almost done with a fifth so I can say education doesnt justify actions of ignorance and bullish beliefs

Ummm, it's kind of an important aspect of the job. All great presidents have also been good speakers.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public" - Theodore Roosevelt

"The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home." - James Madison

"They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty nor security." - Benjamin Franklin

The government is merely a servant merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them. - Mark Twain

Some of my favorite quotes. For the mark twain one: since bush is part of the executive branch, he therfore is the government for arguments sake. He has decided to go to war, regardless of what half of this country had to say, it is not his place to determine right or wrong. If 50% of us dont believe its right, then its not right. If 50% of us believe its not wrong, then its not wrong. The problem at hand should be more closely scrutinized.

Our government has broken its choke chain, and I believe this government needs to be tackled, beaten with a whip by its master (us) until it whimpers ever stroke, and be locked in the kennel for quite a while.

I am voting kerry for this reason, as it was the deciding factor for me. A woman on one of the debates asked how kerry felt about abortion. He responded that he could not respond one way or the other because so many people in this country feel one way or the other Bout it and he is not about to let his personal beliefs control what this country does. It is up to the people.

Morals have nothing to do with it, because its up to each person to define their own morals. A completely subjective.... subject.

It is interesting that most "conservatives" i have met dislike liberals because they think liberals are socialist by nature (big government). On the other hand most "liberals" i know dislike conservatives because they think the conservatives have let the government out of control. Meanwhile this is the biggest government we've had, folks... under one of the most conservative presidents. Just think its funny.

Don't tell me bush is more intelligent than me. I have two friends who go to yale, they are smart, but about as smart as I am, and I go to Penn state, which is just a lowly first tier state school. The only difference is quality of service and reputation. They simply have more money to spend on students.

You know bush didnt get into Yale because he was a sharp guy that they thought would fit in well with the school.

After my internship last summer, I was approached by a recruiter who proposed that I come back for one the next summer before I graduate. He said exactly this (incase you really do believe bush is smart) "Smart people are a dime a dozen, we get 5000 applications a year for internships just for this office. All of them are bright and academically accomplished. However, talent is truly rare, which is why our acceptance rate is only 2%"

Bush is not talented as a business man or a leader.

WeBDeviL,

You are using a disinformation tactic called The Straw Man Technique. You blatently ignore the issue that I posed of Bush's ignorance of O.B.L., and attack Kerry on issues that have no issue with the above situation.

Can you make a defense of what I said without attacking someone else?

If you want to post your opinions of Mr. Kerry in another post, I will be happy to carry an intelligent debate with you on those issues.

Good one, I do however believe he got an education of sorts, you cant just decide to be ignorant to the degree he is. It is an intelligence all it's own with no rhyme or reason, usually it's called insanity but we all know Insanity is a condition where in you have no concept of most things, it doesnt however seem to totally descride what Bush is or knows.

Its a conundrum at best.
