Also, on a side bar note...a reporter on CNN asked earlier today whether this guy would qualify as a candidate for targeting by drone.... no charges, no trial yet.

I had this thought earlier as well....are we about to see the first drone strike on american soil?

I heard that Anderson Cooper got a package from suspect? Any truth to this?

*got it.
CNN newsman Anderson Cooper received a package thought to be from the ex-Los Angeles police officer-turned fugitive Christopher Dorner a week before the massive manhunt that has gripped Southern California. "Learned today suspect Christopher Dorner sent me a parcel at CNN. Inside was a note, DVD, and a coin shot thru with bullet holes," Cooper said in a Twitter message Thursday.

Pointing out and laughing at a coward typing racial slurs on the internet makes me no better than the racist himself? I don't follow your logic

I just didn't want you to lower yourself to his standards. We know what he is, don't feed into it. Misery loves company you know.

Well apparently he meant 'spook' in a different way so I am completely in the wrong. I agree with that sentiment though in general when dealing with actual racism.

Channel 4 news has said it as a fact several times.

yeah, and that's based on what appears to be a modified version of his letter...

in this version, it talked about how he wants gun control, and how he has a cache, and a bunch of other crap...real looney stuff that makes him sound properly crazy...

i think that is a purposely modified version, intended to further fuel finestein's efforts to disarm the citizens of this republic....i don't believe it's legit..

I believe within a few days this will turn into a National manhunt with FBI / CIA / NSA / National Guard collectively trying to find this man.

I also believe he will make a mockery of the LAPD and other local law enforcement though bloodshed, unfortunate as it is. He will cause more innocent bystanders to be shot, injured and/or killed - further illustrating his message that law enforcement is out to protect their own asses and not those of the civilians they are entrusted to protect.

I also believe, if Dorner continues to evade and assault law enforcement that LAPD Police Chief Beck will indeed open an investigation and try to get this man to stop, most likely from MSM / Civilian pressure to do the right thing to stop the bloodshed. However, for that to happen, he will need to continue to evade and assault.

I will say the guy talks a good game in his manifesto. He's educated and appears trained / experienced. I also think it's very telling how jumpy and on edge LAPD / Law Enforcement are when they think they spot this guy.
It tells me that Dorner may be just as methodical and dangerous as his manifesto says he is.

Here's what I think.

I think it's high time to send a message to the MSM from ATS to Reuturs and the Associated Press, that were just not buying their crap anymore. They just reported that a gas station attendant saw Dorner and waived down an LAPD squad car in Corona ? HA HA WTF is LAPD doing in Corona and then being waived down by a gas station attendant my ass.

This is total BS. !

The LAPD often assist smaller agencies in their vicinity, and in a case like this, they would most likely exert their influence over as much area as possible.

the real potential for disaster lies in the officers that have, so far, shot 2 civilians, and shot AT a third, because they thought it might be him...there's really no excuse for that s**t..

Yes he sent A.Cooper a package but he did not get it...someone must get his mail for him bc he only got it when the story broke. "I was made aware of it"

Interesting fact for whisleblowers there....media's mail is intercepted and censored.

I don't care how this person has been wronged, if he has indeed been wronged, but going on a shooting rampage to prove a point, or get justice, is psychotic.

Here's another case to consider:

that's so if they find the guy, they can execute him, without having to worry about pesky news footage interfering with whatever story they choose to feed the media..

Let me ask you something. What's the difference between a high and might spook, and an uppity spook?

He digressed it into a different meaning. Be that as it may, it seems the LAPD may soon have their hands full with civilians who have had enough of there #. Hopefully it's contagious and spreads across America empowering civilians to take action against crooked police officers.

Intimidation only goes so far.

The police have strength in numbers. We civilians out number them.

If they won't fix problems amongst themselves, then maybe they need a little help from us. Our taxes pay them after all, we should have some say in their conduct.

Hoping for a little gas on the fire, you know.

The "LA intense as hell.." thing is a really disturbing aspect of this whole thing playing out. There is a significant number of the population there who will buy into his reasoning.

Also, on a side bar note...a reporter on CNN asked earlier today whether this guy would qualify as a candidate for targeting by drone.... no charges, no trial yet.

edit on 2/7/2013 by kosmicjack because: (no reason given)

What do you mean by "There is a significant number of the population there who will buy into his reasoning"? I live in Los Angeles and as a matter of fact just like thousands and thousands over decades have been a victim of some form of criminal behavior by LAPD and LACSD (sheriff dept), so yes we do buy into his manifesto to a degree as many of us understand where he is coming from from experience. This man certainly had some serious issues with his employer...many people in Los Angeles law enforcement and it's citizens know what the heck is going on, has gone on and continues to go on.

As I stated earlier however, we all should refrain from convicting this man of any crimes yet. That's for a court of the public to do..not any of us here or anywhere else who don't have all the details in this case.

So what exactly did you mean? Do you or have you ever lived here? Have you ever had such experiences here?

I'm curious

The potentialities of this story make my mind reel.

I just keep reading the facts as presented by the LAPD and MSM so far and it just doesn't add up.

Even if it's just another disaffected, ineffective, marginalized male who has snapped - WTF!? What in our society is producing this phenomenon at such an alarming rate now?

If you read his manifesto I don't think this man has snapped as the others have lately. I agree that it is alarming how many people are snapping, but I don't think that's the case in this one. I think he sounds clear and intelligible and a bit pisst off and tired of being pushed around. He knows his stuff and the LAPD isn't used to having one of their own as the enemy. He knows everything about how they operate as he points out in the manifesto. Going to be interesting to see how this turns out.
