I seriously doubt they would go around advertising their membership. The higher degree ones, 34 and above are clandestine like you said. Maybe there are more such lodges? Bill Schnoebelen says there are 99 and alex jones says 360 degrees.

Alex Jones has no earthly idea about masonry, and I seriously doubt he even cares. He is about making you fear everything that happens.

Bill Shenobelen may have been a mason, although the lodge he claims to have been raised at does not claim him as a member. (I verified that myself) Bill seems to want everyone to think he has tried everything and knows all about each dark endeavor he was part of. His story kind of falls apart when he speaks of the high level satanists having to kill children to move up, then in the next breath, he claims he was the head of that organization. In my book, you can repent and call Jesus your friend all you want, but if you harm a child, you are going to hell in the most direct manner. But I think his soul is safe as he is mostly full of hot air and likely was never even in most of the groups he claims. Just another fraud trying to make money from the gullible.

Once he joined a irregular body of masonry, he would have been expelled from regular masonry if he was actually a member.

Even if it were true , they only have sway over the weak minded who lap up anything and everything these "artists" have to say and do and you are just as guilty for aiding them in spreading this so-called "evil" by pointing it out . Actually, no he didn't. If you listen to the entire speech (not just some edited version), you'd realize he was talking about Freedom of the Press versus the need for National Security (and responsible handling by the press); the speech is called "The President and the Press" and JoshNorton devoted a thread to this already debunking the popular misconception. In the same speech he actually calls for more secrecy and when he says "secret society" he is not talking about private fraternal organizations like the Masons, he was talking about the government being secret and not transparent enough.

One would not want to join a group, spend time learning about that group, then do the one thing they told you would get you kicked out if you really liked that group. Joining an irregular lodge, or just sitting in one, can get you expelled. For those of us who take masonry seriously, we just wouldn't do that.
