Would the US Government create terror attacks

Well when your vice president stands there and tell you to vote for him or there is going to be more terrorists attacks, I think the answer to this one is yes. 9-11 was the American Riechstag.

Are you guys suggesting I should look into survival supplies? Seriously, I am fairly ignorant of politics as I haven't seen a candidate in my adult life I felt was worthy of the presidencyand I felt like there were not honest so why pay attention. Guess now I know why. I honestly would like to know:

1. Worst case scenario.
2. Most likely scenario.
3. Honestly....what do you think aboout this and what will you do?

Martial law means the suspension of the Constitution, FEMA and the police take over, citizens will be ordered to remain indoors or else be considered an enemy and shot. The patriot acts also give the fbi and police unlimited abuse of powers.

dgtempe, hi,..... yep I'm back, I've been busy campaigning for Kerry/Edwards,.... they "ROCK" and their going to kick a BUSH out of their way . I've got a couple pictures of John Kerry holding my 11 month old grandson Wed., night at his rally, the pictures are not as good as I had hoped for but they'll do for now. I plan on saving them for the boy to show off when he gets older,...... Nolan and the New President of the United States,........ works for me

2. Extremely tight race Kerry wins the popular election and bush wins the Electoral College, making improbable history. The lefts pre-staged lawyers who have orders to cry foul regardless of existence of wrong doing, gain a little traction and more states adopt Colorado�s ignorant stance. OTW, business as usual (which isn�t a good thing).

Well, lets assume what you just said is true. Yet, OBL and Al Qaeda were responsible for the 9/11 attacks according to the media & administration. I suppose OBL and Al Qaeda would have to be in business with the administration in some fashion, to go along with such a plan!

I guess I really don't get all that's going on either, but IMHO it is much more than simply winning an election. Gaining the White House was a big step though. The main prizes are enormous wealth and power. Now that Afghanistan is in their back pocket, the big gas pipeline that our oil junkies have been dreaming about is within their reach. And with their continual blurring of the definition of 'terrorist', the endless wars to 'rid the world of WMD' and to 'spread freedom' and to 'liberate innocent peoples' will further fuel a military industrial complex that is already out of control. Bush Sr. is making out like a bandit and so is his son GW.

And once we control Iraq, we can proudly display our very own WMD all over the Middle East. And any and all desperate attempts to fight back will be presented as 'brutal terrorist attacks'.

What an ugly cycle we've started.
