aww you guys are so sweet~ i love this place already and it feels just like home all warm and inviting and the people are super nicei im still getting to know the fourm with stars and karma this might sounds funny but i havent figured out how to give karma yet but i will soon enough learn talk to you all soon

karma is not given by members,
it is earned for doing good things,

some sort of algorithm thingy (no one really knows how its calculated)

but if you are helpful it goes up,
if you are naughty,
it goes down

you can also "flag a thread"
at the top of the page on teh right hand side,
there is an option to "flag" and this shows you like the OP (oped)
and or strongly agree with the information or topic covered.

this is the mecanism that gets ops on the front page



star and flag means
star (i like what you said in this post)
flag (i like what you wrote in the op)
