The Titans Of Old - EP of mythology

Hello all.

I spent most of last year creating my own mythological EP music based on my own art works.
I put a lot of work into the story of this EP and thought you might like to hear it.
The album can be listened to for free and here is a little back story.

The whole EP is bases on mythology (loosely around Greek mythology and purgatory) The idea is that the story is about life after death and the different stages we go through after the end.

I would really appreciate some feedback

The trumpet was played by guest Jim Smoothy. I kept it an instrumental as it is supposed to be between life and death

So I was just getting ready to post again....

For what it's worth, I've now listened to each of them again. Very enjoyable indeed. Relaxing...satisfying. More than I initially realized.

Your sound is definately in my lane. Nice.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
It really needs to be listened to in full to get the whole meaning (it's quite subtle)

I also kept the album short for a reason, I originally had a full album planned, but it didn't have the same impact. (short and sweet was the answer)

I really appreciate the feedback. It's always great to hear positive feedback, but criticism is also welcomed!

For recording I used a mix of Cakewalk, and Reaper studio. i also did some recording in the studio. All of the instruments were played by myself except the Trumpet on track 2 and 4, as mentioned before that was done by guest Jim Smoothey.

The images were all done in Maya, it's all 3D. My work is a 3D artist in the movie industry, so was pretty easy for me. More of my art can be seen here liquidminduk.cgsociety.org...

In regards to other music.
I play live about 3 times a week, I'm on tour in China now.
I play very "yoav" style, meaning I play drums etc on the guitar, lots of looping of both guitars and vocals etc, all by myself.

I will try to upload some live performances soon.

On the second song as we speak, great job so far. The whole album has a really cool vibe and i love the lyrical content as well. Quick question, did the trumpet have a mute in it? kinda sounds like it does but im not 100% sure. keep up the good work

Yes, on the second track the trumpet had a mute. However on track 4 it was standard.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it. All 100 downloads have been taken, but if there is enough interest I will do it again.

I just listened to it again. I have to say your lyrics are amazing. How did you come up with them?
Also did you record in a studio? The sound is very professional.
