Do the Greeks have a claim on Constantinople?

When I look at Istanbul, I think Constantinople. I'm sorry, but I simply can't take the city seriously. It was build by Roman standards and taken because the Eastern Roman Empire thought that their walls would protect them forever. Arrogance.

I want to know some honest opinions. Do Greeks have a claim on Istanbul? Both the Turks and the Byzantine empire are long gone. Who should rightfully own the city? And could Istanbul be one day renamed Constantinople?

What are your thoughts on Constantinople?

It is currently inside the sovereign borders of Turkey....so I guess the Turks win.
For their sake, its a good thing they aren't part of Greece.
