Hi Folks,

I believe I have attained enlightenment, and I can provide details about my path to achieving it, which may or may not be helpful to you on your path.

I may not have achieved enlightenment.

I can only speak from experience, which has been very peculiar and very `non-buddhist`

I`m willing to answer any questions, please hold me up to the proverbial ``flamethrower.`` and ask the hard hitting questions, I promise a quick honest answer from the heart.

Not on a high horse, no you should not applaud me, I made this thread because I was hoping to offer useful information to people who might be seeking such a thing. Equality, no high horse.

Also stated I might not have achieved enlightenment. Its quite simple, really, why such aversion.

Why not tell what your experience was instead of offering to answer questions?

What makes you think you achieved enlightenment?

Over a span of years, I constantly considered what I was thinking about, and the more and more I considered why I was thinking such things, the thoughts slowly dissipated completely.

``What is this, why am I thinking this, what is that, what is the nature of this thought, how does this thought relate to me``

and so on and so forth... the mind sort of, ``unwinds`` itself.

How about "enlightening" those of us who believe that enlightenment is a hoax...

TRUE enlightenment cannot happen without LIGHT, the light of god.

Did you connect with the SOURCE of enlightenment: GOD or the one who masquerades as God?

Rajneesh admitted, while under the influence of nitrous oxide, that there is no such thing as enlightenment. I cannot confirm this event through other contacts, but I assume Rajneesh was simply stating what U.G. Krishnamurti has said all along; that the storybook fiction we accept of a perfect enlightenment, full of infallible wisdom, is a big lie.

Osho, Bhagwan Rajneesh, and the Lost Truth

The concept of Lucifer as the “light-bearer” for the purpose of “enlightenment” is also inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology, Roman mythology, Greek mythology, Gnosticism and Western occultism, with a primary focus of the realization of “esoteric” or intuitive knowledge, while being attributed as the true way to salvation of the soul from the impure material world and eventual goal of ascension to the “divine being”.

Likewise, although the name itself or similar terminology of “Lucifer” is not used, this is also the fundamental spiritual belief and foundational premise for most all “Eastern” religions, such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, etc.

The GREAT DECEPTION

That would mean to follow if one wants to lead me.
How can i learn about myself if i follow?
If i am dependant on someone to guide me?

That's pretty vague. If you are a young adult, maybe you just grew up. If you are a not so young adult then what took you so long to grow up?

Good for you OP!

Do you feel that you have successfully identified your ego? That you have been able to witness the ego without contributing to it that sort of thing? This is interesting to me, what is your view on life?

Whoa, good question. Ok, first, I call it ``enlightenment`` because this is what I believe to the state of mind to be consistent with the description given in Buddhism, that is where the connection starts and ends due to reasons which I will explain.

Enlightenment has nothing to do with light particularly, it is not something you achieve or attain per se, it is more something you uncover after being rid of that which does not hold weight regarding truth. Therefore, we all have enlightenment within us, in fact, we are very close to it at all times. Don`t think that its some miraculous mind bending blow you away orgasmic state of existence, it is this somewhat, but not as it appears from afar, and not what you thought it was once you realize that it was within you all along.

I will say it has more to do with your, ``darkness,`` or aspects of the self we commonly avoid for many reasons.

i am sorry. but u have not achieved enlightenment.

there is light.. white light, matter turns to energy emanations.. and a mind blowing orgasmic mental and overall body state is felt for days weeks months and years.

it is very physical. it is very real.

now i can deal with the one who considers it a myth. you may view my profile. i have made claim to being enlightened.. but im not joking.

if u want to know about it or how to achieve, u can read thru my threads.. or ask me questions. i will answer them truthfully. i have been around assisting those who would like to know as well.

u are right about one thing tho.. a precursor is to uncover truth having searched high and low with a critical eye leaving no stone unturned!

From the current feel of energy of the world at large, how do you perceive the future as we see it in this linear time and space?

Please feel free to expand on your answers. As am rather awake but yet to achieve full enlightenment...
