Army Training Exercise in Houston 1/28/2013 - Updated with video

There has been another "Army Training Exercise" down here in Houston complete with plenty of gunfire & terrified neighbors.

The news also had a video from their copter of the exercise happening - I'll try to find it.

This is clearly a training op for military and cops working to take on a militia group that has taken over a school. This is making me pretty steamed. I watched the video and clearly this is a militia v army + police training OP.

Just curious as to why you think this is training to go against militia and not some sort of future false flag or school shooting related incident.

Well since the military can't be used in school shootings, it does make you wonder...

And why are we seeing joint training with the police in these cases? Not like they are going to be working together....or are they?

Without a doubt gearing up for something.


Whether it's attacks on American soil or going overseas to reek havoc on citizens...

Well just to be fair and try to look at this objectively, do we know for sure that this is actually army training? According to the article the news chopper caught a glimpse of it after receiving phone calls about hearing gun shots fired. So at least according to the article, the media had no prior knowledge of the event. Given that they were investigating, their first impulse would have been to call the Army. The Army may have had knowledge of this but that does not go without saying that any other groups such as the Police, National Guard or say DHS could have been participants and not necessarily and direct involvement with the army.

It is alarming to say the least so Im going to poke around and see if I can find any other information about this.

WOW! 2 "Military training exercises" in less than a week is a little frightening.

Are we going to see more or less of this down the road? What they're ramping up for, I'm not sure.

Never saw such LE + MIL training in densely populated areas a few years ago. It's ok to be concerned about it when they aren't very transparent in details of what sort of training is being conducted, in conjunction with the risk factor involved in densely populated areas.

Did you even watch the video? It's clearly Army. Btw, the National Guard is federalize, so even if it was them and not the Army it's the same difference.

You bring up good points, however it looks army to me....now I can not say if it is national guard or RA..
have you by chance seen the report on the training in miami?

In any case, I am really having to dig to find any more info on this. So it must be pretty hush hush whatever it is.

Yes I saw that. They did a similar drill last year also. But this is just getting plain weird.

Its not illegal thanks to Bush Jr and our so called war on terrorism. The military has been conducting drills in US cities for at least a year now. From my google searches they've been in LA, St. Louis, and just recently this week Miami and now Houston. Who knows, there could have well been more drills elsewhere we just haven't learned about them yet.

My God. Incredible. Imagine an Army practicing on home soil !!!

What dastardly deeds will they think of next ??
