A friend's strange occurences...

Hello all, I am new to posting to the site, but not new to the site, been a fellow reader since about 3 or 4 years ago ever since I heard it on the great coast to coast am! Anyhow here's a short description of what a friend has informed me about the little odd secrets of her life. (Let me say that there would be no reason for her lying or making any of this up, we both have very civil straight minds, we both are professionals working for out county DA, and there is no room for the insane here haha).

Her, another co-worker(my friends roomate) and I were all out to lunch when we started to get into a off topics such as paranormal activity and all that sort of stuff. The roomate said out of nowhere "well I've busted her floating in her sleep a couple times" and that just took my breath away! XD ...I asked "literally floating??" and both said yes, that when the roomate noticed she was levitating off the bed while my friend was sleeping she notified her, and she immediately woke up and back on the bed. Now the roomate said she wasn't levitating all exorcist height but enough to notice she wasn't touching the bed fully while asleep but in air.

After that, she started explaining things that have happened to her, and I'll do a short explanation. She described times when she was able to forsee bad events about to happen, such as through bad feelings then moments later the place they were to attend was shot up. She also described a time when she was looking for a picture, couldn't find it, only to have been woken up later in the night by another picture falling off the wall while hanging and low and behold the original picture being searched for was behind the hanging picture! Another time she described was while in a bath, laying down position, she wanted to reach for a bottle of shampoo and did not want to get up(lazingly lol) so she just thought "man I wish I didn't have to get up to the bottle of shampoo" after a while she just a laid in the water then sunk her body and head under the water, which, after coming up the same bottle of shampoo she had wanted to reach for was in her hands after coming up from the water! That amazed me lol(I know my story telling sucks, I'm writing this at work so I have to hurry). Yet another time, she was in the kitchen with her brother, she sensed something bad was going to happen so she yelled towards her brother to duck, then she said out of nowhere a knife she was holding to cut vegetables flew in his direction OUT OF HER HAND! She said if he hadn't have ducked it would've hit him in the chest. Very odd. She has premonitions, she dreams of the deceased, gets anxiety before events. She also told me of a time when going to a religious place here in the south called 'botanicas' she become very very fatigue and had to leave the building and for that whole day she had to rest and become very sleepy unlike anything she's felt. Mind you, white witches dwell in these places and many spiritual amulets and ointments, books and other things to cast out bad spirits are made, blessed and sold here...I'm not sure what all this is for her, but she'd like some insight on it...hope to hear from you guys! thanks!

a good way to tell someone is lying...when they post "I have no reason to lie or be making this stuff up"" thats usually a tell tell sign someone is lying.

just telling you how it is.Its the same with someone saying "to be honest with you" most of the time when someone starts off saying that they are lying.just my observations.

You really should have waited till you had made 20 posts before posting this.

Well, she definitely has a "gift".

I would advise her to contact a medium, or psychic (make sure they are the real deal), and get their take on what's going on with her. They can also help her learn how to control her abilities, or use them for the good of others, like solving crimes, healing, etc.

then you have lived a very mundane life ::

i personally have had bizarre occurrances like your friend, op; not the particular knife throwing (that was good), but other weird phenomena, things moving, others have seen it..i can't tell you what the heck it is tho ::

i would however, NOT advise her to go to a medium, etc. just have her do what a lot of us do, research, find forums that have experiencers..cause it could be so many things, yes? entities, her own telekinesis..the way to do it, is to analyze each event, compare them, and look for other clues surrounding the occurance..
