It's not that WHAT they say is crazy, it's the EXPECTATION that others will find it normal that is crazy.
How do we know that what these schizophrenics see isn't an entirely accurate viewpoint of the world?

Because it can't be. Everything would have to match when compared in reference, even if my 'red' is your 'black', like a translation. Someone posted about it being a broken mind..I somewhat agree with that. Which is kind of hopeless I know.
Although it would be nice if what you propose was true, but I think if a Schizophrenic person believed this suggestion it would further break down what is already a fine line in their reality perception leading straight to acute psychosis.
Also it seems that Schizophrenia mirrors other conditions as mentioned here..Such as a childhood TBI.

Considering schizophrenics themselves describe their hallucinations as grossly violent, unpleasant encouraging of self harm/harm to others, or belittling to the sufferer I would say no. The government is not lying. Schizophrenia is no joke, it is currently one of the least understood psychological disorders.
Perhaps these violent "hallucinations" are the product of malevolent entities manipulating the human mind.
Call them devils, demons, aliens, or what ever you like. The end result is the same.
Perhaps it is one of the least understood disorders because it cannot be understood with conventional science?

I think schizophrenics end up aware of the systematic cancellation of their good vibes made so by evil forces and so end up refusing participation with themselves and the world, i think the evil force made it like this, so they don't spread this keen awareness. Anti-psychotics born from a system that is born from evil furthers this aspect.
As for hallucinations, i think fear of a reality out to screw their good vibes at every turn invokes a genuine feeling of reality shock that is very heavy alongside a refusal of participation with themselves and the world, that their mind is unable to track and process the world accordingly. Or, they end up so deeply against the evil force as to not participate, that they end up facing its anger.
I am diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic. I do remember during the heat of my fear the feeling something wanted me to off myself, as presented by a ruthless attack of things around me, that are still here, and for everyone else i believe.
