I think maybe a pole shift or crustal shift would start on that date. If not that extreme, perhaps a large earthquake bigger than the 9.5 in Chile and once that happens, it would start the other dominoes falling.....

take it from me, falling for a date is the worse thing you can do. no really look at my posts back in november and december, i really believed the mayan prophecy i really did. never again though, because it took hold of my life for years, and made me depressed as hell when nothing happened, now ive had my "moment" and realize what the y2kers and the other doomsday porn recovered addicts realize, that its all bull and always has been bull. i mean the whole year came and went without anything really, the week and day itself had nothing at ALL! and yet last month we had a meteor strike the earth, how insane is that? shows me dates mean nothing, and its the dates nobody mentions that things happen. so my new mentality is this; if a date is mentioned, then breath a sigh of relief because nothing will happen, it never has, and truthfully dec 21st 2012 was the damn closest thing we had in our liftimes with enough merit to be true. so clinging onto this new date is like the crying man waiting for his gf who just broke up with him to come back as he cries and begs, not happening.

if you believe the date or any date like that, then someday you will learn the hard day as i did, but save yourself the wasted years and time and heart ache and realize you have no clue what will happen each day, except the days people predict, because those days aint crap happening at all.

Pole shifts/crustal shifts are not possible.

There was an event about 800Ma that was like a pole shift. It took 15My to complete and moved at the astonishing rate of 1m per year. That event is still being verified.

Dates almost never pan out.
Well except for April 20th. That's been a rough date in our history.
But that's a Human concoction.

The Earth certainly doesn't doom to our Calender .
