Actually, that's pretty accurate.

I would like to add that socially/politically aware music has played an important in our culture since at least the 1930's. Strange then, that since the millennium almost all music on the radio waves has been so vacuous and shallow - but of course it was quite deliberate. In fact some BBC DJ's declared in 2002 that they had been provided with a banned music list - including Bob Dylan et al - anything at all that promoted an ant-war mentality.

That's cute.. load of crap, but cute. It's funny how on one hand people rail on the gov't for being so inept and yet on the other claim they perpetrate and cover up some of the most complex and near impossible operations in history.
