Even if NK launched something at the US it would be shot down at a maximum of 60 seconds after launch; and before that 60 seconds passes, Kim's whole country will be in ashes. To attack America you can't just launch missles over, it doesn't work that way. We now have (and have prob. had for sometime) Laser defense systems that will anihilate any missle headed in this direction; we have the biggest, the fastest, the most accurate Missle's in the world, that couldreach NK soil before they walk out of their launch station. No way they try anything like this, of course, imo.

Do not UNDER - ESTIMATE N.Korea.

While its BS is thick and fast, they are not fools. They know they can never hope to win in ANY war.

But one thing they do know and wage it well - is pyschological warfare / propaganda - setting the NARRATIVE.

USA had been ruled by liberal and conservative morons for too long. America doed not know what is happening right under the nose, and had allowed the more cunning to win.

America either play the pacifist as Clinton did, and played right into the hands of Lil' Kim, and allowed him nukes and even supplying him with food to feed the masses while lil' kim spends national reserves on building up nukes.

Or, America foolishly rushed into Iraq with all guns blazing, but with no plan for an end in sight, and got played by all sides into being held responsible for the debacle.

The stupidities stem from its belief in honor, honesty, integrity and all that 'gentlemanly' behaviour, being silent in the face of lies. Unfortunately, America's enemies DO NOT hold such values and HAD used it to bring down world opinion on USA.

It began in 1979 with a president who should have remain being a peanut farmer than a president. In the face of the apostate Khomenei returning, Carter did nothing to dispel the lies he spewed.

Worse when the siege upon Mecca, supported by Khomenei, and when he failed, he lied and laid full blame upon USA's mythical alphabet agencies being responsible, so as to escape the wrath of Saudi Arabia who know the truth of who was responsible.

Carter did not counter those lies, and as a result, those lies were repeated and that hatred of USA is still present on the ignorant and kept stupid unconsciably Islam believers. Only the educated muslims knew the truth but they were a minority.

N. Korea had been setting the narrative for decades, loud and vocal, not only for their own public consumption, but for the rest of the world. For those who hate US, will grab at anything to justify their hatred, even lies.

It is high time America calls on its best marketing agencies, to even more loudly and vocally play the rhetoric games on EVERY channel the world uses, even at UN.

N.Korea latest tirade is a provacation for war, and a direct insult to America, even if its threat is laughable. NO nation in our modern world have the right to provoke or threaten another country, more so as DIRECT as what NK did, without an EQUALLY loud and vocal rhetoric in reply all over the world.

It's only a game anyway. USA does not want a war, but neither does NK. They aint fools. But at least, with the propaganda war, America will not have allowed that pipesquek baby kim the narrative to fool his own citizens, the world and the rest of anti-americans..

I don't know where you've been for the last 20 years but that's nothing new, Kim-Jong Il agreed to freeze his nuclear program in 1994 in exchange for help in producing two nuclear reactors.

Since then, whenever NK needs foreign aid (althrough nowadays it's more about food) they make threats about doing some nuclear tests/strikes, the West act all shocked for a while and then proceed to send whatever they need in exchange for a promise from NK's dictator that they'll not try anything too serious.

And, to be honest, even though they are now capable of launching things in space whithout it exploding after a few miles, they are now match for today's superpowers, a nuclear strike would most certainly be monitored and stopped fairly quickly and the counterattack would be devastating for them.

China has been trying to get North Korea to shut up and stop pissing off the U.S. and South Korea but even China is having a hard time getting the North to knock it off. That fact alone tells us that North Korea is a problem.

Split Infinity

Kind of reminds me of when i was a small child in the schoolyard. There was a guy who would steal my pocket money he was much bigger and stronger and apparently he'd been doing it to others for a long time.

One day I'd had enough but I knew he was still going to do it whatever I said. He threatened I was defiant,
I got a bloody lip and still lost my dinner money, I still told him what I thought and was defiant,
He got some of my piers to ostracise me, My few remaining friends advised to just give in but I've always been stubborn.
I kept getting a bloody lip and going hungry, but as it carried on for a few weeks more and more people stopped being scared and got angry. In the end I wasn't alone and even though he might get me on the way to school occasionally I didn't go hungry because the people that banded with me would share.
Now in my story the bully never did get his come uppance because he changed tactics and never went about his business overtly after that.

I will leave you to connect the people in my story to the countries in your quote, but I think your an intelligent guy from reading your previous posts. Its just that a lot of what you write seems to suggest you think that the US government is the only one that doesn't use propaganda for control.

I would take this threat extremely seriously, and no matter what the US government says, it will take this claim seriously as well. The thing that most people do not know about is a missile defense shield. We can guess that if NK attacks the US, China is going to back them. That is pretty much a given, no matter what anyone says about China's economy being linked to the US...They have much to gain by wiping out or conquering the US.

Now, NK has no missile defense system in place, and if they did it would be a system that was acquired from another country. China has a system in place around its borders, but the technology was bought from Russia, and is limited to intercepting missiles that are relatively low velocity. I do not know what side Russia would take, but they have no missile defense system at all except around Moscow. So the rest of the country is left undefended.

The US probably has the most advanced NMD system in the world, as Obama, in 2009, was making arrangements for our national security in this regard. He decided against placing missile defense systems in Poland, and opted for naval based systems installed on warships. This was a good move in my opinion. and you can bet that some of those naval vessels that were stationed closer to China have these systems equipped. I would even be willing to bet that the US has considered shooting down NK's test missile.

The US also has land-based systems in the US that are capable of taking out ballistic missiles in space. But I believe that the US systems may be vulnerable, just like China's, to certain high-velocity systems. But there is speculation that the US has not made public the advancements of their defense system, and this would make perfect sense. What worries me is not the incoming missiles from NK, as I do not think they will hit the US, but rather I am afraid of the aftermath.

I have always said that IF there is a WWIII, all countries will have to restrain themselves from using nuclear weapons, as it will just unleash apocalypse across much of the globe, when fallout and long-term effects are considered. So for NK to say they want to not only initiate an attack, but do so with nuclear weapons, really scares me. Not that I am afraid of NK or their military by any means, but as I said, the aftermath.

Now would be a good time to bring back the "Bush Docturine" of pre-emptive war as a means of defense.

I think the rest of the world would understand; don't you?

I trust CNN over FOX news ANY DAY. Do you not remember after 911 Fox reporting WEEKS after, the death toll DOUBLE what it was. They have reported so many false stories all to keep up their hypocritical agenda. North Korea is a REAL threat, as far I as I am concerned this is an ACT OF WAR. For those who may have forgotten we are still technically at war with NKorea, as we only had declared a "cease fire".

Also I live on the West Coast, in LA. So for me this threat is not something to take lightly. Another threat to us is the fact that an EMP from NKorea, could put us back a 150 years. They would not even need a nuke.

We should wipe North Korea off the map already. No one will miss it and god knows that clown has given us enough reasons to justify carpet bombing them and launching a couple of nukes. They don't have the naval power or the airforce to last. There's no good reason to keep letting that fat chink run his mouth and to give NK any consideration or mercy.

End them.

Oh, well then that's reason enough. Never mind that NK has been making threats the last two decades and that its people are starving.

Also, North Koreans havr short weak frames and have small weiners hence, why they are running their mouths.

NK has been 'making' threats, while US has been engaging in mass murder of Arab children.

When I was @ Baghdad airport, my friend had his hand shot off by an "Arab Child" because he refused to fire on him and tried to yell at him in his language to drop his weapon. Perhaps your anger is misguided by bias and ignorance.

I served in the Middle East. You're not going to sell me on the whole theory that the U.S is bullying everyone. While I didn't agree with Bush's politics (And some of President Obama's)....you cannot compare the U.S to Palestinians or Al Qaeda. I didn't see anyone in my unit bomb a crowded market or behead anyone. Nice try.

I can't believe that you, a fellow human would claim such BS. Are you even human?

ARAB - that word implies a People governed by their own People, either managed or MISMANAGED by their own kind.

How DARE you even begin to blame America for your own stupidities, allowing your own kind to mass murder your own children?

What other BS and arab propaganda you wish to spout here, out with it here and now? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WITH THE ANTI-AMERICANISM BS!!!

You have invaded their country, they will fight you no matter what. What reason were you there for? WMDs?

Anyway, I am going off topic, so I will stop here.

I'm not Arab. And no where am I supporting Arab regimes.

That's the thing, Americans can't take anything negative about their country, while criticizing all other countries. SO much double standards.

What makes you think you should have the power to simply "wipe countries off the map" just because they don't adhere to your military imperialism?

You missed the part about them making threats for the past 20 years. Threats by the way, which we have been greatly ignoring. Just economic sanctions and slaps on the wrist have been our only reaction. The last two threats were of a nuclear strike. If that's not enough to justify a reaction, I don't know what is.

THere you go again with your BS!

Ameica had never, never, sought the wiping out of ANY country in the world, except mouthed by the barbarian Iran regime and the N.Korean dog regime, and by your own mouth and post as evidence.

Americans can accept criticisms if those critiques are honest, sincere and true. But only fools would believe in the lies and falsehoods if not utter stupidity you sadly misuse your mouth if not the brains for.

Regardless of whomever you are, you are responsible for your post, either the credit for it, or the idiocy and falsehoods that you spout and supported by your deluded kind.

They're just trying to deter you. Do you think NK is f.ing stupid to attack the US? no. They know they will be finished in a week.

They haven't attacked you, you have no right to attack them. If they do attack you, then, of course, you have every right to get them.
